I actually think the Dark Suit has a kind of cool look, although it isn't as efficient as I thought it would be. But it would've been too imbalanced if you got no damage from the Dark World after just one temple.

The Dark Suit reduces the damage you take by only 20%, one of the lowest gains in the series, although only by 5% - but you also only take one damage per second in Dark Aether, as opposed to five per second.

I was referring to the Dark Aether damage, I was wrong anyways, but yeah, it's more effective for you not dying in Dark Aether.

...I record nothing more powerful than an SNES on emulator, everything else is straight off the console. Working Gamecube emulators that you can record smoothly and not have infinite problems with are a myth. And, for my computer at least, just Gamecube emulators in general are a myth.

it does more damage to shoot like crazy (aimed of course) then it is to take the time to charge... i think at least was in 1 and 3 :/ i never played this one

Not really, I've always found the charge beam to do a lot more to enemies than the single shots do, no matter how fast you can shoot em.

For me, I'm terrible at hitting foes with Charge Beam shots, so I tend to just blast away insanely fast, and use missiles a lot.

Now, I don't actually know about the Prime games, but the Charge Beam tends top be stronger than missiles in the 2-D games. So, in light of that (without any testing) I use the Charge Beam when I'm close.
