His dominionist beliefs and this quote seem to be at odds.

@Zyworski I'm no expert, but there's a lot of ground between "theocracy" properly so-called, and the view that Christians should work to influence, and even dominate, secular politics. The two ideas are not necessarily contradictory. My guess is Bachmann, for example, believes in some form of "democracy," but with the assumption that the majority will always be "Christian" in her (debased) sense of the term.

Pretty much everything in any of them were widely held beliefs at the time. I know the verses you are speaking of in the koran, the one regarding the big bang is so vague and has to be wildly interpreted that it makes no sense. The one about embryology is pretty much wrong on almost every part. The moon being reflected light was known before.
