  • That was an awesome point, great stuff from hewitt, my fav player. Just as great stuff from roddick, massive amount of respect for the man.

  • Great!

  • ヒューイットかっこよすぎ!!

  • LOL at roddick's one handed backhand!!!

  • 0:38 Roddick single-handed backhand passing shot!!

  • I'm going to this tournament in February!!!!

  • Lol, I've never seen Roddick hit a one handed backhand before this match, lol.

  • No one got up out of their seat.

  • roddick's rarely seen one handed backhand makes its appearance!

  • Go Lleyton!

  • thats my boy!

  • 0:37 one-handed backhand from roddick LOL hahaha

  • They're also my 2 favourite male players :)

  • Hewitt and Roddick are such great competitors, playing each other i think brings out the best in them. If u saw the match, notice how much agressive Roddick was forced to play against the strategizing Hewitt. Both played great and are my top 2 favorite players.

  • did you see what they did at wimbledon this year ? it was awesome, and hewitt was the most difficult player or roddick , with federer ! a shame that he lose the final

  • i was there !!!!! so awesome

  • hewitt will reign supreme again, eveyone gets on him for having no weapons but he has amazing speed and moves the ball so well

  • he may not have an exceptional shot, but he´s pretty good all around, he´s a very competitive, intense player, he´s very patient in the rallies and smart on court, moves well and is very strong mentally..

  • yea... he has that will power and never say die attitude.. only a matter of time before hes bak in the top 10..

  • hmmm I think the only reason he had the chance to reign in the first place was the gulf in talent in that period of time.

  • .. Gulf of talent? You mean he shut EVERYONE down those two years he was number one. I mean, you have the old generation of Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi that he dominated and then he kept at bay for the most part the new generation such as Safin, Roddick, Ferrero, Nalbandian and especially Federer. All this while he was still 18-20 years of age, the youngest number one in the world ever. He was quite an accomplishment but his game dropped as expected since he relies on tenacity.

  • I think you've just proved my point. By the time Hewitt hit no 1 Sampras and Agassi were already over 30, and of the new generation he held at bay only Federer and Roddick are still in the top 10. Hewitt hit his peak early when others were still generating and that has shown through his total stagnation in form and ability.

  • I think Hewitt's fall has been partly because of Federer hitting - and sustaining- his incredible peak form. Hewitt's last slam was in 02, but he played exceptional tennis from 00-05, if not for Fed he would have picked up at least two more slams in that period.. probably more.

Since 05, his body hasn't been able to handle the tour. I believe that he's still capable of great things, if he can manage to stay injury free for long enough.

  • they were still both making grand slams but so how were they bad Hewitt was good at that time before got injurys trust me he used to beat Federer all the time

  • Tim Henman used to beat Federer all the time, doesn't put them in the same league.

  • i know but Hewitt was still good better then alot of people think he won 3 grand slams 2 in singles 1 in doubles

  • Great point! Hewitt was playing the best I'd seen him play in a long while, I hope he's back for good after hip surgery.

  • very good perform memphis andy roddick

  • it was a good match...bouth playing amazing
