i know this will be lost on most of you because you are yourselves kids - but that father should be arrested for what he did. yes that kid is a little snot - but punching a child like that is unreal. he should have just grabbed the kid or blocked him.

@nialljamesbuckley Actually from that angle it looks as though he might have just shoved him down. So I agree that hitting a kid even in that circumstance is wrong, but if its just shoving the kid, completely acceptable.

@nialljamesbuckley The dad didnt punch the kid, if u look close you see he pushes him in the chest, and since kids arent best on skates, the kid fell pretty hard but is perfectly fine. He just tried to save another kid from possibly getting hurt.

@hellape25 - are you blind? watch it again. he went far beyond what would have been reasonable to stop that kid from getting hurt. Head, chest - either one could do serious damage. And to call that a push is nuts. He essentially close-lined that kid. What he did was uncalled for. And he knew it too - look at his reaction afterwards.
