Yes! This advert buried its way into my psyche like a parasitic worm. I never got the power on my feet, although I was nearly swayed when they were giving away the Gareth Southgate signed football with them at selected Windsors World Of Shoes stores. Thank fuck I stuck with my pink Pony trainers and was spared my dignity...
fuck i would of even worn pony trainers before being seen in bull boys, the advert was obviosly made for parents who had no idea what their kids wanted, little did they know they be sending their children into school to be torment for a very long time, even fatty at school had the right to point and laugh at who every sported a a pair of bull boys
lolololol! They were some of the shittest trainers going, on par with the hi-tec's & gola's of this world. I remember when some kid tried 2 wear them into school like he was hot shit, everytime we saw him walking down the corridor we would sing the advert at him, the joke is it took him a couple of weeks 2 suss out that we weren't being complimentary!
I used to have a pair of these and the y didint last long plus i still got injuries wearing them shinpads lol they were shit and cheap but hey ho every kid wanted em
What was Alan thinking? Note that it says 'shinpads with pre-printed signature'. The real reason the Southgate ad was dropped is that in it they implied he personally signed every football and the ad got banned. I always wondered what made him 'Champion of the English National Football Team'. I'd love to see that ad again.
this is fuckin amazing!!! gareth southgate one was much funnier though. and i remember how shit the balls were aswell, and the shinpads. crappy sig on them ahahhahah amazing!!
@mellomeh yes that's the one I remember, with Gareth Southgate! Some kid actually wore those and he was bullied mercilessly for that. He later told me his mum had bought them and so he had to wear it.
i remember the gareth southgate one haha. shitty flyaway ball with a printed signature

Didn't the same company make Lelli Kelly shoes for girls? Also, does anyone else remember 'Yo Street Feet', possibly also made by the same company?

I remember the other one better:
"With Bull Boys Shoes you get a free football, signed by Gareth Southgate, Champion of the English National Football Team!"
mellomeh 3 years ago 10
Then they removed the Southgate endorsement when he missed the penalty in Euro 96!
