Where did you end up going for school if not ERAU?

@XOhammyXO I ended up going to Louisiana Tech University. They are accredited by the AABI just like ERAU. It's a great program; good department/faculty. Also, it's about 75% cheaper than ERAU by my best estimate.

First of all Daytona sucks...period. Second Embry Riddle will take your money until you don't have anything left a common 2 hour flight in a single engine 172 with a CFI will cost you about $500. Third the food is unbelievably terrible, picture the worst stuff that you could imagine and then prepare to be dissapointed. If you are incredibly determined to become a pilot or an aeronautical engineer then this is the school for you...otherwise steer clear.

@planelander That's about what I pay an hour. But, my school is four times cheaper than Embry Riddle and I get the EXACT SAME RATINGS & CERTS.

I don't know if you've toured the campus, but I really enjoyed everything about this school. I did end up not going, but I'm glad I did in my situation.
