I remember watching this routine at worlds, i was on showtime storm, and OH MY GOODNESS...it was like a slap in the face! Soo good. The jump ropes totally took it over the top. Favorite routine, hands down!

i sorta agree with you, but EWE , was fast moving and didnt get all slow and lazy, if you look at the back of sum of the dancers, ull see that they do one move and wait there for the frount dancers to fisnsh, so ya

More than half of allstar teams use choreographers in some way or another. It gives the students a chance to learn to quickily pick up choreography out of their comfort zone so they can be prepared if they choose to continue to dance for a college team where a choreographer is used by nearly every school.

haha so have you heard of NDA? its the biggest dance competition that gives bids to worlds. lake mary got their partial paid bid from there. not at large. also, you didnt get a piad bid becuase usasf doesnt give full paid bids to dance worlds. so lake mary got the highest bid possible!

alright, lma is a great place, and they did deserve 1st. EWE had a good routine it was clean and the handstands were tight, but LMA has CLASS, unlike EWE they congratulated every team, clapped for every team, even when they lost. if you think headbanging and washcloths are cool in a HIP HOP routine then all power to ya, but dana knows whats gonna hit and she deserves way more than people talking crap about her, so get a life, and be ready to measure lake marys ring sizes this year.

ummm...i basically would like to say, that ewe looked like they were gonna shit themselves at worlds when they were about to announce second, so you knew you didn't have it in the bag, check the scores, lma wasn't far behind. and don't be bragging about how you got tabitha and napolean to coreograph, they're proffesionals for a reason.

lake mary's dance coach dana brewer did that whole routine by herself along with every other team in that gym. you guys won, you were cleaner, now move on.

I watched both because all the argument made me curious. I am far removed from either team (unless one of them is located in Iowa :).

I thought both were tremendous and you can tell they both wanted it. E. Wash was cleaner then Lake Mary though.

Judges human, what one panel says is 1st place, another may disagree. The variable scores (showmanship, choreography etc) are going to be different for each personal judge.. All you can do is bring the best you have and I think both teams did that!

Ok so I just watched both EW and Lake Mary and I think this was very good! The partner lifts and tricks were creative and cool. I think the actual hip hop choreography was less advanced and a bit more "cheer" hop than EW. BUT that said, it is an excellent routine and if it had won, it would have not been a surprise.

i agree completely that LMA was the better hip hop team buuut, on this particular weekend, lake mary basically gave first place to EWE on a SILVER PLATTER, watch the video a billion more times, i have and they made their fair share of mistakes, EWE is just cleaner and when 6 of 9 worlds judges are from UDA and the other 3 are NDA is kind of hard to win without an impeccibly clean routine, EWE had it that weekend..but hands down, LAKE MARY IS THE SHIIIIIIZZZZZZ!!!!!

I guess when every team in the senior hip hop division is rooting for them to win (except maybe EWE) they deserve it! And maybe because they did an actual HIP HOP dance not some jazz shiny costume dance to respect??
