Part of the reason Nick is what it is today is because the people who originally owned Nick studios sold Nickelodeon over to these people called "Blue Man productions" or some crap. Putting all the old Nick stuff and nick shows into a vault and burying it somewhere in Los Angeles, CA. It's not even in Orlando where Nickelodeon originated!!!! I know exactly what I have been missing. I was born in 1986. I saw the better days of Nickelodeon during 1993-1997(age 7-11). Those were the great years. 1998-1999 still have some good shows, but that was the last of what was good. After 2000, there was a slow and sad decline. Now, it isn't even worth watching anymore. The old shows had some meaning to them. The new shows aren't any fun to watch.

I know exactly what I have been missing. I was born in 1986. I saw the better days of Nickelodeon during 1993-1997(age 7-11). Those were the great years. 1998-1999 still have some good shows, but that was the last of what was good. After 2000, there was a slow and sad decline. Now, it isn't even worth watching anymore. The old shows had some meaning to them. The new shows aren't any fun to watch.

Well, I do admit Ned's Declassified was ok. Icarly was ok until Fred came on. I'm sorry FRED sucks. There are a few other post 2002 stuff on nick I like but nothing competed with stuff like Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Kablam, Catdog, and Hey Arnold. There's a few more that were awsome but I forget.

spongebob & fairly odd parents both stared out amazingly but nickelodeon kept them going wayyyyyyy too long & now they suck.
& ned's declassified was another good show in my opinion haha.
but yeah nickelodeon in the 90s was WAYYYY better than it is now. i think somewhere between 2001 & 2002, nickelodeon decided to hire crappy writers to make all they're shows, & they just got progressively crappier as time went on.

Round House was a good Nick show too! Hey Dude, Alex Mack. Disney Channel had a few good shows before Hanna Montana came along like In A Heartbeat, Jett Jackson and So Weird. In A Heartbeat was Good! Teen Nick should stop showing New Degrassi episodes because it sucks! It started to suck after season six or seven! Radio Free Roscoe is Awesome they should come up with another show like that! I also miss Cartoon Network stuff like Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Lab!

Don't forget AHH! Real Monsters. The Late 80's thru the mid 90s before Hey Arnold and Rocket Power came on was great! They should just reshow all the late 80s thru mid 90s shows and bring back SNICK and animaniacs and Doug, Rugrats, Count Duckula, You Can't do that on television, Salute Your Shorts. Just show reruns all the time of all those great shows including Pete and Pete!
