  • @giodmx313 5 grams of creatine monohydrate is enough to affect muscle growth and performance and if you take it prior to your work out or soccer practice it will help you with endurance,if you take post work out it will affect you more in mass gaining and it will not help you lose fat but remember to take lots of water so it can do its thing.

And as for the creakic it looks fancy but I'm telling you the most effective supplement out there is your standard Creatine Monohydrate. The stuff I use is just a GNC brand pure creatine monohydrate and its been awesome over the years. The simpler the better, and the sooner people realize it the better, save you TONS of time and ever more money.

    thats what i do, im 16 and been lifting and working out for around 2 months

    im 6 foot and weigh 74kg, i finished my loading phase of creatine (15g daily) and did that

    for a week and now im using 3 gram a day which i take with my whey protein shake.

    Have one protein shake in the morning and one before bed :) in between i drink plenty of water

    and have a healthy diet! :)

  • @conn0r1994 You know Im no pro bodybuilder and I do not claim to be but what youre doing is basically exactly what Ive done the past five years (other than minor differences in when i take my protein supps) and ive had nothing but great results. But drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy diet will do more for you mentally and physically than any supp out there. Good for you for being so young but having your mind in the perfect place about working out. Props.

  • @futb0lista7777777 With any supplement you have to cycle, the absorption rate might be better with "amp" creatine (I assume your refering to creatine 189 from gnc) but thats about it. I think the absorption rate for monohydrate is 66 present, but its much cheaper. Ohhh and one big thing is buy straight creatine, dont buy mixes, all it is is a bunch of sugar and extra stuff you dont need.

  • @futb0lista7777777 Of course man, I take it everyday. I wouldn't exceed more than 5 to 10 grams a day, and you have to drink alot of water with it too. If you want to try it head up to GNC and grab some its only 15 bucks and you get a 100 servings. I would take it with a protein shake or some juice, with water its kinda nasty. People will try to get you to buy creatine "this" and creatine "that" but in the end its all the same stuff.

  • @jarekmessi94 alright mate im 19 and in the same position as you just about to take it, but dad has used it before and ive seen the results, the main thing you have to consider when taking this is the dedication and strict regime your gonna need to follow for this to work, im talking about 6 small meals a day keeping hydrated and training, the problem you might have is fitting in all this whilst being in education if you still are, hope this helps

  • @futb0lista7777777 well first off, have you been working out for at least a year? i wouldn't recommend taking it until at least a years worth of intense workouts. second. if you haven't started yet, for the first week, you take one tablespoon in the morning, and one tablespoon before working out. after that first week of "loading" you go down to just one tablespoon, before a workout. on non workout days, it's one tablespoon at breakfast.

  • @futb0lista7777777 uh no not really, they may shrink a little, but even after them being shrunk, you will still have gained more than what you would have normally. you cycle it, three months on, 6 weeks off, etc. i went off my creatine, and my arms didn't shrink at all size wise.

  • @futb0lista7777777 i didn't say take it after a workout, so don't take it after. some loading phases i've seen say to take on in morning, one before AND one after, but in my opinion, that's too much, and your body will piss most of that out, so basically you would be wasting it. post workout, drink down a protein drink, or eat some lean meat or something high in protein.

  • @futb0lista7777777 m you buy the creatine in powder form (you can get it in pills, but you are paying more for less if you do that) and you mix it with Grape Juice or water. i wouldn't mix it with protein, because protein powder has some of it's own unique substances in it. It does this by increasing ATP production. So do with that what you will! As for muscle mass, definitely. It helps in protein synthesis and since protein is essential for building muscle then it helps. It also draws water into your muscles so they look more volumized

  • i start taking creatine 6 months ago when i was 15 and im currently still 15 but after 4 months of it i had to stop taking it it was giving me stomach problems kidney problems and other problems also including rashes i did get good results from taking this substance but the effects it gave me was horrible i was up nearly every night vomiting and i and iwas geting very thirsty during my sleeping hours and would have to get up to get drinks of water etc ... tbh dont take creatine

  • @glossery : i make creatine cycles of 2 months and 1 week pause , drinking 5 and even more liters of fluids and i don't have any problem for 2 years . My advice do not exeed 5 gr per 6 hours and you will be fine.

As for liquid, you need to drink alot more water than normal...this helps with absorption for one and creatine puts water weight on that actually helps with strength...

I understand you are worried about calories but creatine will make you gain weight because of water retention so you are sabotaging your weight loss. I prefer grape or apple juice. Avoid acidic juices as I heard they may negate some effects of the creatine

  • The older you be the bigger you get naturally, its normal to be small at 14-15, you better train youself naturally while your are growing,at this age you already have a rush of hormones to do the job, at 20-21 you can take some supplement. But there is no danger to take some anyway.

  • @Massondr There are like no effects. since you have to intake a lot of water you will start to feel bloated and you will go to the bathroom more. it makes you piss and shit, no lie. And technically you will not lose any results. people say you do because creatine fills your muscles with water, so if you are taking it for a long time and you stop your cycle or stop taking it you may see downsize but you dont lose strength. Creatine is also for short term endurance so you can pump out more reps

  • Creatine works diffrent on diffrent people i respond pretty well too, helps me wack out those last few reps, for me it doesnt help muscle tone as i hold quit alot of water when taking it, however as for how much i use met - rex pure creatine and it has instructions on how much to take :)

  • Question: Would You guys recommend me taking creatine when working out @ the gym (a bunch of weights + treadmills mostly). The twist is that I have pretty big muscles its just that Ive got a bunch of fat covering most of them too. I currently weigh around 93 kg (205 lbs). Dont get it wrong, its not all fat, most people dont believe my weight is over 80 kg (175 lbs).

    However,would you recommend me taking creatine before/after workout or will i just end up getting bigger both muscle and fat wise?

  • creatine isnt going to help you lose any weight if thats what your asking?? it will make you gain weight and you will look a little fatter due to water retention.

  • creatine has little to no part to play in fat loss. what it does is buy retaining water in the muscle builds a better "enviornment" for muscle to grow, being done so through extrainious excersise and bodybuilding. if you want fat loss, focus on heavy cardio utilizing multiple body functions like swimming, biking, or volleyball. also, dieting is important. stick with lean proteins like chicken and fish with minimul amounts of fat. hope the advice helps

  • obvioulsy kidneys will be worked harder if you take 5 times the amount thats listed in the label, and even then you need to have a pre-existing kidney problem. Creatine is maybe the most studied suppliment on earth.

  • I've been bodybuilding in 4 years, and creatine does little in making your muscles look huge, during the absorbation of water. The human body produces creatine naturally, the only thing u do when taking creatine, is boosting this supply, thus you might feel stronger while training, and so on. The way you ask might seem u expect results only steroids can make, creatine doesn't work that way.

  • Hey newer. Creatine does not have anabolic properties, it has energy properties. Its main job is to supply ATP energy to working muscles. This is used for intense muscular contractions like sprinting weight training explosive movements like that. Creatine is also found it red meats etc but supplimentation is more convinient. And no it does not cause acne its not a hormone or a steroid. Growth will not be effected at all, and his kidneys will be fine in normal dosing ranges.

  • I didn't watch the video, but I suggest staying away from supps other than protein shakes until you are at LEAST 18. Just grow natural while your still young. Just my 2cents.

  • i take n.o to help with energy loss put im an adult with a work out after a long work day as for any other reason no is bs not worth your money if you do decide to use it get the cheapest one you can find. it is bad tasting caffine and a few other sups nothing that will make you strong or big it is a vanity product at best and will only help when stacked with creatine if you dont have money to throw away find something else.

  • creatine is ok and you can use it for long periods of time you should always give your body a break from any sup anything that you put in your body has an effect on your liver the acne is one side of creatine but verys from person to person some people have no sides and can use it for years day in and day out. others are not so lucky if you do decide to use creatine you should try and consume your body wieght in oz of water to help your liver realy you should do this anyway

  • My experience with creatine was not good.

    Im a 16 year old kid who decided to use creatine to enhance my workouts. I noticed the creatine I intaked allowed my muscles to have my endurance. They could wistand more excercise and I could get a few more reps in then usual.

    Weeks after intaking the creatine I noticed acne started on my back for the first time in my life and Increased dramatically on my face. I am still now recovering from the breakout.

  • thats probably because you were taking it for too long your only suppose to take creatine for a short period of time. watch the video on here called " fitness advice: how to use creatine it might help. or creatine just might not be for you. never know till you try.

  • you definitely took wayy to much. how long were you on it for? im 16 too and i take creatine but i go on and off you can do it for a long time.
