Great video brother! When i heard the mayday go out, my stomach dropped, but then you could hear interior call a PAR, so that was a relief. We had a similar fire, and theyre hard to get at. Great job guys!
(I have been in the fire service for 16 years and I do it for a living). This department sounds very good on the radio. They kept their radio traffic to a minimum and stayed calm. They diid a good job on doing an agressive fire attack. Great job!!!
Yes, the cameras are mounted on the truck. The pile of hose at the front is not what it appears . It is actually by design and consists of multiple attack lines in separate rolls that flake off easily. From what I have seen it is also quite easy to deploy.
@nfd5123 Like ParkerFire said, it flakes out nice from the center. We use it on our cross lays and call it a Miami bundle. It works really well in stair wells too.
