Just finished watching this film, when i saw the TV trailer, i thought it looked pretty good. I was looking forward to seeing it. As soon as it started, i was disappointed. Just by the cheesy font they used for the opening credits i was wary of it. Anyone else notice the violin in the one scene that was meant to be sad? So cliche, and very cringey! The concept of it is quite good i think, what a waste for M. Night Shyamalan to do the job!
lol I know man! Just like you said it was like he was acting bad on purpose. It was so bad that I ended up liking it. I'll probably watch it again around Halloween and make fun of it.
But anyone else were bothered by Zooey Deschanel fucking bad acting or what ever the hell her name is as much as i did ??
i mean wtf, that bitch annoyed the fuck out of me. if i was Mark Walbert, man i fucking punch her in the face and say bitch, wtf, what's with the wide eyes and no feeling reactions are you having? are u retarded, learn how to act. god damn, i was fucking annoyed, y did they even cast her, did she even know how to act? stupid Bitch !
Ha Ha The twist of the movie is on the audience. The bad acting and dialoge was done on purpose. This movie is not to be taken seriously. M Night has just fooled everyone. Brilliant.
Nice try MEB3144. I don't think so. Unless you are M. Night Shamalyan, we don't know if he was serious or not. I'd say, given the interviews he's done and the way it was marketed, he WAS seriously trying to make a decent movie...but it was simply atrocious! But it's entertaining enough because it's so bad. Hahahaha....
Hahaha....buddy, you are dead on with these imitations. So funny. I would actually recommend this movie, purely based on how funny it is. A favorite scene for me was when the two teenage boys were trying to get into the house. I won't spoil it but it was classic laugh-out-loud cinema. I thought the whole movie was a comedy after seeing it, but then I saw an interview with M. Night and Mark Wahlberg. They were serious about this movie! Which makes my laughter more profound. Hah! Too funny.
1. it's not even a horror movie
2. mark wahlberg and John Leguizamo did way better than Zooey Deschanel, Ashlyn Sanchez
3. how else would you have expected him to react/act

I would say that the lead woman in the film gave the worst performace, next to Mark Walhberg.
