  • So, if I can understand this correctly, what some are now saying is, because this doll is also made to be Latina and Caucasian, that justifies the OBVIOUSLY negative racial slurs put upon the African-American Community? That's ludicrous. If you ran the risk of offending even one particular group of people, why would you see such a project through? And did this manufacturer honestly think consumers would believe they'd "no idea this was going to be an offensive toy"? Unbelievable...

  • My sister works for Costco and for EVERYONE'S info the "Lil' Monkey" doll came in 3 nationalisties: African American, Latina, and White. AND so did the "Pretty Panda." It was removed from the shelves July 21, after it was put on the shelves on the 20th. IT WAS A DAM*ED DOLL!! And they produced the dolls per their member requests for ethnic dolls.

"Since you didn't walk on eggshells for me now you owe me." Get your information CORRECTLY before hand!! Don't rely on a chain e-mail, or the news!!

  • floridalover04 lol , stop jerking off to Madonna for a week and everything will go back to normal aright dickhead .

  • @floridalover04 this is late but how could you not see the issue...i see why it offends people and your just being an ass about it..i does not matter if the doll came in white and latina the fact still remains thats was wrong..

  • Good video. I am flabbergasted by this, but your comments are well-appreciated.

  • people so crazy and then they said Oh! we didn't know that the doll was going to be offensive to some people, are you serious? I'm white and that makes me furious. Costco should be sue for putting that doll on the shelves.

  • very Disrespecting.. And Rude to all Races. Its Rude To us Black people... And Rude To Whites Trying To Make Them Look LIke They Said it..

Wouldn't want A White Doll Saying ''Lil' Cracker?

Or A Black Doll Saying '' Lil' Monkey"

a Mexican One? '' Lil' WetBack?''

This Is Rude. And It Better Be Off The Shelf... People These Days... Man...

  • i want that doll :)

  • dedrawilliams coward - useless feeder

  • There is a third doll set, a white doll with a monkey saying "lil monkey", not being shown for some unknown reason. Only racists are making the connection. Now who is worried about what racists think? What else do THEY think so we can ban it? Oh, suddenly racists think black people should win the lotto, so should we ban that too? Stop worrying about what from Fn Ahole thinks and stop teaching your kids what THEY think.

  • yeah right aint no white doll with monkey that's bull shyt .prove it...... that what I thought

  • I black girl at a grocery store called me monkey, because I was buying a plantain. I heard her mom telling her the expression, because I am puertorrican and cook plantains I am a monkey. I ignore them, because the historical fact is that plantain were brought to Puerto Rico by the African slaves. No reason to take this personally. No reason to feel insecure when you have national pride.

  • It's not about insecurity. It's about blatant disrespect. The banana isn't in the monkeys hands, it's in the little black dolls hand. If you seriously don't see a problem with that, then you are ignorant to the racist history of America.

Also, I don't even see why you say national pride... seriously, what does a banana have to do with national pride? And do you realize that the term monkey was used as a racial slur in this country? If not... you're in no position to comment on this.

  • i so agree
