My sister works for Costco and for EVERYONE'S info the "Lil' Monkey" doll came in 3 nationalisties: African American, Latina, and White. AND so did the "Pretty Panda." It was removed from the shelves July 21, after it was put on the shelves on the 20th. IT WAS A DAM*ED DOLL!! And they produced the dolls per their member requests for ethnic dolls.

There is a third doll set, a white doll with a monkey saying "lil monkey", not being shown for some unknown reason. Only racists are making the connection. I black girl at a grocery store called me monkey, because I was buying a plantain. I heard her mom telling her the expression, because I am puertorrican and cook plantains I am a monkey. I ignore them, because the historical fact is that plantain were brought to Puerto Rico by the African slaves. No reason to take this personally.
