NBA players don't have as good of dunks as some of these youtube dunkers because they concentrate on their game more than anything else, plus they get ALOT of cardio, so their vetical is severely limited. In order to increase your vertical you need to do lots of pylometrics with MINIMUM cardio, to develop explosion. Ever wonder why olympic distance runners have like a 12 inch vertical ?

But that isn't relevant, most players before getting into the NBA had skill and size over jumping ability, that's why smaller guys have higher vertical leaps.
