well, what you are referring to constitutes time travel but only in one direction. Yes, you can travel into the future in an irreversible way by simply going very fast. As far as traveling in the past, it may be possible, or maybe not, but I don't think anybody on earth knows how. And traveling into the past brings a lot of difficult questions that we have no good answers for. Maybe if you can go into the past, then it will be in a way that "you already did" so the past doesn't really change.

when a massive star explodes as a supernova and becomes a red giant, it eventually becomes unable to resist gravity and the core collapses to form a neutron star. if the star is still too masive to be stable as a neutron star the force of gravity is so strong and the star collapses indefinately until it disapears leaving just a scource of gravity so strong not even light can escape.
