Just so everyone knows... glass shatters at over 5km/s.. i.e. the crack moves at over 5 km/s. He didn't cut the video ... it just shatters too fast. He's an idiot because he didn't show the sides of the glass and it just seems to appear out of thin air.
Yer, that there was rather disappointing. It would of been a whole lot better if you saw what was actually be smashed/broken, and you also saw how it broke, not just the aftermath.
Errr, it was black at the beginning mate, the glass was unbroken, you could see straight through it to the other side where the black background is. The shattering of the glass happens so fast that you don't see it, even at 1000fps, which isn't all that fast in the grand scale of things.
weeeell, the demand is so high that they pretty much is impossible to get a hand on at the moment. Since pretty much all "first-gens" are sold..Renting is a option, so that boils down to about $2750/10 hour day for camera & tech, NOT including lenses for the HD model that can shoot up to 1000 fps at 1080p, or $3500/day for a 4K camera (up to 120fps) with tech. Price is above 60.000$ without lenses ATLEAST.

I find it very hard to believe the cracks appear instantaneously.

Anyone know the price to purchase a Phantom HD? I don't understand why nobody will say. If it costs $1,000,000.00 just say it!
