this is most beautiful and the extras are all the backround movement i noticed a few things. It seems as if you were actually mounted on a satellite .incredible.keep up the great work
I was out that night, trying to find Hartley by the double cluster, but I was too newb to find it, lol. My scope has too much focal length for a lot of things.
I was really lucky to get this image. Lucky because I had a clear night. I havent been able to get out and take any deep space images in the past 2 months because the weather here has been so bad. Cold and cloudy....really getting tired of it!
that's beauty maaaaan! 8-> u r so lucky! i couldn't catch that comet due to those damn clouds coming all over... i really like this sequence, i guess u've been working hard to have it done. thanks for posting! and clear skies! :)
I just reversed the frames in the video so the comet was in the same place when I did the zoom in. It didn't change directions in the sky when capturing :)
@krisDM3000 Try looking for it again! :D Its a really hard target if your near a city but if you aren't you will see it! I live near the city but I found it through my scope! I had to really concentrate though! ANd get my eyes adjusted well! I was in a dark room for awhile to get adjusted! From now until the 20 it will be bright! I recommend Downloading all the star Charts for stellarium and getting the comet hartley 2 Code to put in to stellerium so that the comet will appear.
