As someone who grew up with G.I.Joe as a kid in the 80's/90's, this looks a'ight. When I saw them flying the Cobra flag over the White House my first thought was, "This is so Cobra."

I love how over the top they re with these Joe movies. If they tried to play it straight serious it'd be shit.

The Marvel comics by Larry Hama played it "straight serious" and they were 1000 times better than anyof the cartoons or the movies, and lasted over 10 years in its original run, and are now back in publication. These movies are what's shit. If they were faithful to the comics, then they'd actually be good.

The Dark Knight movies are playing things "straight serious" and are based on the comics, not cartoons, and they seem to be doing very well. But there are even fans of the cartoon that I've seen that hated the last movie.
