The "no talent" comments tend to come from those that feel they have to make such statements to prove their loyalty to the more "talented" bands they themselves adore.

Truthfully, anyone who has the desire, dedication, and passion it takes to make music and go through the rigorous process of getting it out to the masses be it electronic format or radio is talented in my opinion. Making a CD takes a lot of time and patience.

Um, Lady GaGa has a plethora of talent. Just because you know nothing of her music doesn't mean you can just assume she is talentless. For that matter, Miley Cyrus is a decently talented vocalist. What annoys me is people who dislike people because they're mainstream.

I do agree with everything you say but I don't feel like they necessarily use their talent to its fullest. Lady GaGa has amazing talent but instead of making the amazing music that she is capable of she chooses to make music that is very simplistic (especially compared to what she could do). She should get rid of the ridiculous outfits and make the music that she is capable of making with out distracting us with the uncessary. Then I will respect her.

Ridiculous outfits maybe by your standards. Why should her clothing have to change in order for her music to be worthwhile? It's just clothing. That's like saying a priest isn't a priest unless they're dressed appropriately. It's what she likes to wear. It's her style. That shouldn't hinder her. If anything, she should be praised for choosing to dress the way she does. If no one changes, the same ideas are recycled and nothing new ever comes to be.

I'm honestly not trying to sound like such a prick, because I do understand where you're coming from, but if someone likes what they do, why should they change? She makes different sorts of music. If you've ever been to her concert, or seen live videos of her, you'd see that. She's not a one-trick pony.
