  • when you keep one leg straight and one leg bent in the front (like she did) its called a hurdler

  • a herki is wat u did wen u bent 1 leg and the other 1 was straight .its that 2 tha side

  • @edwarddurazo no we just couldnt do everything here because it was really muddy and slippery and freeeezing haha, but yeah we can do more things like back tucks, standing back tucks, layouts and other stufff

  • these r all awesome tricks...heres a stupid question, cuz im pretty sure u can but can yall do pikes,hurdlers,and toe touches?... im gonna be trying out for cheerleading this next year and i would like 2 no if yall would have some tips or something??? btw i think yall r both amazing gymnists

  • do you have any tips on the aerial? I just don;t have the courage to try it. My cartwheel, one handed cartwheel, dive cartwheel are really good, but i can't seam to bring myself to lift my arms off the ground! Any help? Yours are amazing! :D

  • how come you didnt do standing tucks, and running fron tuck?

  • this was about 1 year ago now and katie was still working on perfecting them (meaning making sure she didnt fall on her face) so she couldnt really do them yet, also in this video there was mud all over the place, if you cant see that on our clothes, so i would of been extremely dangerous

  • umm ok, well like weve said many times before were not in real gymnastics anymore so we dont train on a spring floor, we just use like a mat, and plus this is one of our worse videos and was taken wen we were like 12 and were so much better now, like katie can do two standing backtucks iin a row, both a left and a right aerial, and a punch front on regular mats, NOT a spring floor sooooo yeahhhh

  • These tricks are actually really easy if you are enrolled in dance and or gymnastics. Do you know any harder tricks?

  • yeah we do haha but this was actual a really bad video of us i think haha, i might be making a new vid soon, and like the reply that i posted above, katie can do two standing back tucks in a row, a punch front tuck on reg mats and both left and right aerials on like a black top and stuff so yeah i might put up another vid soon, and if i do ill let u know so that u can watch it :)

  • I found your channel because of a coment you left on someones video saying that you hate cheerleaders and that all they are is bad gymnists. After watching your videos, I have better tumbling then you, I am a cheerleader. I have respect for gymnists. Myabe you should think before you say things. And in this video you are trying to do cheerleading things... why?

  • hey this is emily, we both have respect for cheerleaders i dont know if katie left a coment or something, and you probably have better tumbling bc you use spring floors, we do all of our tumbling on hard wood floors and some moves in here that are both cheerleading and gymnastics because all of the moves we had performed in this video we use in our routines for gymnastics and contortion so sorry, and im not trying to be mean or make some stupid coment or fight, i just stating some facts.

  • For high school cheerleading, we use a hard floor. All the tumbling I have on the spring floor I can do on the hard floor.

  • I go to gymnastics with both Katie and Emily, and they work VVVVVEEEEERRRRRYYYYY hard!!! I am so proud of them, and happy to be in a class with them. They are probably better than any of you will ever be, so shut the hell up!!! You would be lucky too knw them. I'm agreeing with Katie and Emiy on this one. I thought you guys did REALLY good, can't wait for our next year of dance, and by the way Emily got her 10 year award at our studio.... so yeah. But once again amazing, keep it up.

  • you shouldd look up the scorpian. try that for a challenge. (:

  • both katie and emily can do a scorpian if u look at our vid backyard gymnastics, i think that emily does a scorpian in that

  • well, you told me how long it took you, but "just keep stretching " wasn't really good advice. What kind of streches.

  • umm even though u cant do ur full split yet, u should try puttiong ur leg up on a chair and the push down but dont bounce up and down cuz u cud pull something, the key is to hold it there for a long time, rest for a bit then repeat that a few more times and u can do the same for the other leg

  • how long did it take for you to get the splits, need advice

  • ummm well im not sure about emily, but I (katie) got my split when i was about 8 so it wasnt too hard, u just got to keep stretching a lot and just keep at it

    1. it was 20dgrees outside

    2. we made sooo many videos before this one so we were out there for like 2hrs

    3. she was sick that weekend so of course she had to breathe throug her mouth

    4. the camera was right there and we were trying to talk loud so the camera would actually hear it

    5. umm dont tell me that i need to work out because i condition in gymnastics for almost 2 HRS EACH DAY so yeah umm id like to see one of ur vids

  • haha yeah Emiy can put her legs behind her hea in like 10 different ways!

  • Great performance! Emily is super-flexible (the foot under chin is very impressive) and Katie has super gymnastics skills
