  • I have too agree, Too many of the breeders today seem too want a a saddle bred horse instead of a morgan . This guy looks like a Morgan and he looks like he can do what ever you ask of him. Not like the big names within the breed now. Oh Yea they look like great dressage horses but that is it. And don't even get me going on their ongoing foot problems .

  • @ed1856 We strive to produce and promote the "old style" Morgans at Diamond Q Morgans. Thanks so much for your comment and support of the traditional style Morgan. They are amazing and have the body, bone and heart to go all day!

  • Keep up the old style with substance - yeh! With a good body comes good temperament and trainability; from soundness comes happiness in work. IMHO...

  • Don't ever let them try to "refine" the looks of these horses. I've seen some awful examples with the long, thin head - trying to make a perfect horse into an Afghan Hound...
