yeah this game is legendry. I have it for tg 16 and back then it set the mark for having the best soundtrack since tg 16 was the first to use a cd platform. Back in the day it blew my mind. Happy sister you are right!!! buy the game. Let these guys continue to make this series live on!!!!! does anyone know what its like on psp?

Graphically it seems to look just like the PC remake (which I played with a translation patch) but other things like when you go in a house or something is more akin to the PC Engine CD/Turbo Grafx CD remake of the game from 1989. It's going to be awesome I'm pretty sure since I never finished the game on PC or PC Engine I will now on DS...unless it really has issues or whatever you never know.

no thanks. there's just something about owning the official hard copy and knowing that my money went to the people who created the awesome game that makes me feel special. i'm all for spending money on great games. it tells the game creators "yes! we really do appreciate your efforts! thank you for making a difference in the gaming world!"

btw im stuck in the first Ys game, where now im about to enter the tower, but i need some sort of super gears to enter, where do i get the gears?

don't remember anything about needing "gears" to enter the tower, unless they're talking about "gear" as in "equipment" like the silver equips you should have by then.
