i timed tht, bout 7-8 seconds around tht time so nt bad for wt it is, if u cn get a 1.9 diesel to 6 seconds 0-60 then uve achieve sumthing gr8 bt usually u wnt, mabye increase turbo boost pressure or even buy a new turbo.

9seconds to 100kmh is VERY SLOW. The car as standard does it in 8s, so you have spent a lot of money to slow it down! By removing a top speed limiter you cause too much heat to build up in the top of the engine which will damage it. You can do it on the vectra as airflow and space is better, but the astra is limited for a reason. It just goes to prove yet again, aftermarket tuning parts are a total con, they don't do anything for the car apart from make it noisy &damage it. Typical boy racer

@urbex2007 Sorry to write on you but you're wrong.. Aceleration start at 12sec and at 19sec it's 100kmh.. please pay more attention.. But if this video isn't good for you.. if you'll wait a couple of days, I will share another video with my new Astra Gtc with same motor and a different reprom up to 195cv..;-)

@minguccio82 9s is VERY SLOW for that car - your so-called modifications have slowed it down, so you were conned. LEARN about engines, filtration and gasflow. Don't fall for the clever advertising. Just using the thing you think is filtering is causing severe damage to your engine and turbo. Go and check for all the scoring were dust and dirt has been allowed through to sandblast it to hell.

NO WAY is that tuned, it takes a second LONGER to reach 100kmh/62mph than a standard car. You must have an engine fault.

That looks like a 1.9 8v 120BHP to me, even a 16v 1.7cdti could match that for speed.

you are talking shit! this could match. I have had a 1.7cdti and then a 1.9cdti 120bhp, now with chip 150bhp and the acceleration of my car is quite the same like the car in this vid.

I do the same 0-100 with my Corsa Gsi and it is only a 1.6 16V with 112 bhp. That is to slow for a GTC with 184 bhp.

Please take care the car was stopped, the tacho was near 0 km/h, the start is at 13sec, at 20sec it's at 100km/h and at 21 sec it's at 110km/h..See again the video.. Therefore I was the only one in the car an hand was filming while running..

of course, BMW has a tradition of building powerful quality engines since the 30s... Opel also have tradition (they're in the business since 1899!), so trust me, they know how to make good cars also. Too bad they were so low in the 80s with horrible models like KADETT, ASCONA, the old CORSA and other monstruosities... But still... you're like a dull Ferrari owner who shouts at red light: "YO DUDE! YOUR CHRYSLER SUCKS!". They're just other classes for different owners. :-s

This is an homemade work. It's possible by removing the instruments and changing the leds that are inside..

You can buy the kits on ebay - which is where most people get them, but it looks crap with bits of orange on the displays.

Do the whole lot, all switches and controls, also trip display, it looks OK.
