Yes, people sure are foolish putting their trust in men, as they do with Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. These people claimed to have heard the voice of god. You can take them on their word, or not. You have nothing else to go on. If you believe and follow them you are not worshiping god but are worshiping human authority.
