@Cuilarick I'm pretty sure it was something like the U.S piggybacking on one of russia's designs, and patenting the idea before they could make it.

@Cuilarick no, YOU are wrong! Igor Sikorsky immigrated to the US in 1919, where he founded the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. It is an american aircraft/helicopter company.
