Thank you! Nice video and clear instructions. I'm a beginning knitter so I can only do very basic projects and this made perfect sense to me. I'm finishing up a simple glasses case for my dad for Christmas and I decided to be adventurous and add a button. This really helped me out!
WOW! I'm so grateful for videos demonstrating knitting as I'm an eager dedicated beginning learning as much as I can, because I love it! Thank you for helping me figuring out how to make a button hole - yeah! Very clear, easy and simple.
Fabulous!!! Thank you for a great video! I likes the pace & clarity or your instructions!! I know have 3 perfect button holes and a COMPLETED project - yeah!! :)
Thank you for this. The instructions I had in a pattern didn't make any sense to me at all (making a buttonhole over two rows) and I used your video to make my holes and it went much smoother. Excellent video.
This is the best video on button hole making that I have ever seen. You are so clear and ....what else can I say. thank you for doing this. This Video is perfect!! Thanks again! Kathy
Thanks so much. After so many bad buttonholes I have finally made a perfect buttonhole!!!! And even though I knit in English knitting style - I managed to follow your video successfully!!! 5 stars!
I used this about 6 months ago, and my button holes turned out perfect. I'm back again for a refresher and more button hole. It's perfect; the directions are clear. It's easier than it looks.
I have instructions that basically use the bind off and cast on - but they don't tell you how to do this - turn work, pass over stitches, etc. This just cleared up everything. Now I have to try and see if I can do it. Rip first.
nice video.... would this button hole technique be the same as making a hole for puppy legs on a sweater? only difference is binding off and casting on more stitches?
Nice tutorial, my buttonhole looks really good - however there is one small flaw... I have a little hole just the the left of the buttonhole! How can I stop this from happening?
I'm so glad you knit in the 'continental' fashion. I've watched several buttonhole videos where the knitter wraps the yarn from her right hand and it's confusing to me because I hold the yarn in my left hand! Thanks for the video! I look forward to watching more of your videos.
