  • This video is very helpful. I appreciate how the instructions are so full, and that it is slow enough for me to follow along. Thank you!

  • I can believe somebody was capable to vote tums down in this video, they'r not in theirs main or what?

  • I hate these videos that just show the hands. How an I supposed to jerk off to that?

  • @DeweyManloveJr what also u want to see a legs or what because u are in a wrong channel lol.

  • this is helping me so much! thank you

  • Thank you! Nice video and clear instructions. I'm a beginning knitter so I can only do very basic projects and this made perfect sense to me. I'm finishing up a simple glasses case for my dad for Christmas and I decided to be adventurous and add a button. This really helped me out!

  • That's the first time I've ever done a knitted buttonhole, and I literally watched your video and it worked first time, thank you! :D

  • WOW! I'm so grateful for videos demonstrating knitting as I'm an eager dedicated beginning learning as much as I can, because I love it! Thank you for helping me figuring out how to make a button hole - yeah! Very clear, easy and simple.

  • thank u!

  • thank you for taking the time to show this video it was clear and helpful

  • does it work on every pattern? (not only knit stich?)

  • Thank you so much for this video! My first try at a buttonhole and it came out fabulous (: Thank you so much!

  • Fabulous!!! Thank you for a great video! I likes the pace & clarity or your instructions!! I know have 3 perfect button holes and a COMPLETED project - yeah!! :)

  • Very simple and easy! Thanks! Also do you have to have a bigger hole for a bigger button, even though the yarn stretches?

  • Video is hard to see what she's doing -- after she puts the needle between stitches, the video goes blurry.

  • That was so clear and helpful. Thank you!

  • Thank you for this. The instructions I had in a pattern didn't make any sense to me at all (making a buttonhole over two rows) and I used your video to make my holes and it went much smoother. Excellent video.

  • Excellent video! Just done an eight stitch buttonhole and it's perfect. Best buttonhole ever.

  • This is the best video on button hole making that I have ever seen. You are so clear and ....what else can I say. thank you for doing this. This Video is perfect!! Thanks again! Kathy

  • Thank u so much!!! I'm using this for a hat I'm making for my dog!!! It needs holes for the ears.

  • I like pretending Maggie Gyllenhaal is teaching me how to knit a buttonhole.

  • funny

  • I spent hours trying to make a button hole in a pattern I was doing and this video had me making the buttonhole in minutes.

  • Thank you - I have always thought a one-row buttonhole was beyond me but now I think I can give it a try!

  • cool. i've been really struggling with button holes but this looks much more simple.

  • thank u so much! Loved this, u made it look easy :)

  • I used this about 6 months ago, and my button holes turned out perfect. I'm back again for a refresher and more button hole. It's perfect; the directions are clear. It's easier than it looks.

  • I can't wait to do my first button hole! :D I have so many pretty buttons to choose!! :b

  • I have instructions that basically use the bind off and cast on - but they don't tell you how to do this - turn work, pass over stitches, etc. This just cleared up everything. Now I have to try and see if I can do it. Rip first.

  • terrific video, very well done..I tried reading several different sites and sets of instructions and could not get it until I saw yours! Thank you!

  • thank you, this helped a lot!

  • Ooooo!!! Very simple, very clean!! Thank you!

  • thank God for youtube, because trying to decifer this in a patter would have been ridiculous!

  • Wie findet ihr den schal auf ebay artikel nr: 150533257173 ?

  • Thank you SOOO much!!! This video was *very* helpful :)

  • Thanks so much for this video. Looks quite simple!

  • nice video.... would this button hole technique be the same as making a hole for puppy legs on a sweater? only difference is binding off and casting on more stitches?

  • Thank you so much. I had to watch it a few times to do mine and it came out great. I love your yarn. Can you tell me what it is?

  • Best button hole I've ever made, but I have a small hole at the right side of the button hole, is that the norm ! thanks so much for your video.

  • thank you so much! i have written instructions but really needed visual aid!

  • That's an awesome buttonhole. No gaps and easy! Thank you!

  • Nice tutorial, my buttonhole looks really good - however there is one small flaw... I have a little hole just the the left of the buttonhole! How can I stop this from happening?

  • Happy Thanksgiving------please can you tell me if the same thing goes for a smaller botton hole...thank you from Italy.

  • WOOHOO!!!!

  • Thank you so much! Very clarifying!

  • I'm so glad you knit in the 'continental' fashion. I've watched several buttonhole videos where the knitter wraps the yarn from her right hand and it's confusing to me because I hold the yarn in my left hand! Thanks for the video! I look forward to watching more of your videos.

  • @orkmommy Just so I know what to search for, what's the other option called? I hold my yarn in my right hand and while I haven't had many problems with videos yet, it'd be nice to know what I should search for if I have a problem.

  • Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I was trying to teach myself how to make a button hole from "Knitting for Dummies", and the conclusion I came to was that only Dummies would do it the way they did it in the book! lol.

Your tutorial was great! The pacing was wonderful, the directions were clear, and this is my best buttonhole ever. Many thanks again!

  • OMG what a fool I have been. You make it look so easy and it is. I can not thank you enough, I have only been knitting for 2months now and I thought i would never learn to do a button hole.
