If you play Thief on expert, you're not allowed to kill ANYONE in any level, unless of course you're dealing with spiders or zombies. (At least in the first two games, I'm not sure about the third). I take that as a sign that the developers wanted you to play Garrett that way. Honestly, it doesn't seem quite right to leave a trail of blood behind you as a master thief. First, there's no subtlety. And second, a lot of those people are innocent..sheesh, they're just rent-a-cops, doing their job.

I couldn;t see just one movie though, because each mission, unless you cut some out here and there, would could half a movie in itself. Plus with a heist film, preparation for the heist is really the meat of the story, then watching the other shoe drop or how well the plan is executed, is the only part. I doubt it will be done or done well. Not that popular of a series, and video game movies don't get the serious effort too often.

Thats not really true... Look closely when he knocks out the guard... He uses a dagger and thrusts it into the guard's neck instead using a blackjack on his head...
But your true, it depends on the style your playin, but i would call him a thief with the knowledge of an assassin, if he needs to use it...
