I'll clear it all up for you a bit... Yes we have been told since beauty school NOT to use "metal bowls" but here are the specifics on that theory. It pertains to materials that rust, oxidize, decompose etc... Stainless steel and aluminum bowls and foils DO NOT do these things, making it safe to use. Trust me, Andre would NEVER do something to jeaopardize the "laws of color" he is the founder of the ABCH.
stainless steel is fine and so is aluminum.
