  • really great video, looks like a lot of fun plus the song is one of the best

  • About 13-14 years ago This was the first song on my playlist when I walked after dinner. This was the perfect song to warm up to and by the end of it really be moving. So good to hear it again.

  • thanks for the post....i really like this song....and nice video too.... :)

  • love it! really great and different.

  • My typical situation is getting 'high' on living my life. Filling it with happiness more and more every day. In every way. Remember, a smile can save a life... I know, just one could have saved mine. [:

This video makes me want to ride a recumbent. It looks like it's amazing and free feeling.

  • One of my favorite songs, lovely video for it.

  • Makes me want to quit my job, load up my CATS and hit the road !!!! HUGE DAVE HEAD here !!!!

  • I love this song... great video too.. thank you earthnrg!!

  • Why this song didn't make the greatest hits double album is beyond me.

  • Thanks for sharing a bit of your life. Relaxing video to a relaxing jam!

  • man recumbant bikes look so comfy.

  • thanks for sharing!! went from WI to CA when this CD just came out and I have WONDERFUL memories of it. Took I-80 out the whole way from Illinois to California and I saw some of the most beautiful countryside I ever saw in that trip! Also witnessed Lake Tahoe while driving up there to Toad the Wet Sprocket and Queen and I only wish I still had my hands on the videos because I would upload!!

  • i wuda thought the Rockie Mts wuda been rockier???

  • Thanks for riding on an actual bike path and not in the city or along a busy highway like so many bikers do! I bike myself but would never dream of ever biking along a road with cars when there are so many interesting bike paths/trails with out the hazard of being killed by a one ton plus motorized vehicle! What fun is it to constantly put your life in risk riding along a road?

  • something there is that doesn't love a wall. too beautiful music, i truly believe some great spirit, perhaps even the creator, indwells such beauty

  • may i know d artist

  • @SSkaye501 Dave Matthews Band!

  • I'm pretty sure that I want to go to Colorado right now, ride a recumbent, and listen to Dave Mathews all day!

    Wouldn't that be the life!

  • @ejvols4: "Wouldn't that be the life!"

Yup, just another day in Paradise!

  • @earthnrg no what sounds better is going to colorado, ride a recumbent, listen to this, and light up a joint to this

  • added as fav for song :)

  • ooof!!! i truly LOVE this song.

  • amazing song

  • beautiful scenery

  • You've clearly never had the oportunity to ride a recumbent. Not only are they more efficient, but are way more comfortable. I don't end a ride in agony because of pain in my neck, wrists, back, and butt. As for being lazy, if I was at home in a recliner I'd agree, but as you can see we are out enjoying a great cycling experience getting excercise in a more natural position. Alas, this is only one of many activities we enjoy, including mountain biking which is done on a "real" bike.

  • Tell us something about your trike and what was the deciding factor/factors of your choice.

  • Sometimes when you answer the idiots you give them credence and empower them to write or spew more ignorance. I'm a 150 mile a week cyclist, I ride a road bike, but I am happy that you are out there enjoying yourself, your wife and the outdoors.

    Stay safe a keep riding!

  • Don't forget 'aching crotch' from riding a regular bike. Those bikes look great but is turning a problem?

  • No trouble at all. Really, turning is one of the best, most exciting parts!

  • Now I'm worried. I'm the type that usually falls off the regular bike so three wheels or more would be perfect for me.

  • @earthnrg I agree with djritalin, plus recumbents are lazy because they draft off everyone else and nobody can draft off them. They're team-breakers. Just my point of view, I like to race so drafting is a big deal for me.

  • @sigma11011 Recumbents are "lazy"? Because of drafting issues with uprights? I understand the team issue, and think that a mixed team would be tough. But why would that matter since recumbents aren't allowed in any standard sanctioned events? If you really think recumbents are lazy, I suggest you try one. I expect you'll be surprised and realize that being 'bent is not about being lazy, it's just more comfortable.

  • i love the flute in this song

  • That is some beautiful scenery, and one of the most beautiful songs of all time.

    beautiful!!!

  • great video for the fact that it is one of the only original versions of the song on youtube

  • aint that the truth! so many fans. Did they all forget about this happy little tune? love the CRUSHendo (ha,ha) in this song. soft, hard, fast and slow this tune has it all!!

  • the lower end of the derailleur jockey wheel is sure close to the ground on that trike. Probably picks up lots of dirt?

  • Yep, sure does. Picks-up a lot of grass too. Some day I may change over to an internal gear hub, but for now I'm sticking to the standard transmission. It hasn't been a problem though. Besides, I'm used to mountain biking where I pick-up a lot more dirt.

  • @earthnrg, I have similar issues with my Dahon folding bike as it also has a small rear wheel. One of my mountain bikes has a Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal transmission and I use in the winter precisely for the reasons you mention, to keep the crap out of the chain.

  • Same here with my Terra Trike Tour it has a 20" wheel and the jockey wheel has 1" of clearance.

  • Hi. Nice video. I have a Challenge trike that's still pretty new. I ride on rail to trails here in Pa. Also in my living room (see my YT page, "KutRyte."

What is the "T" shaped post near the bottom of your video frame? I am looking for something like that to hold a computer display. Thanks! Dan

  • Dan, the "T" shaped post is a handlebar neck/riser (aheadset style) mounted on the derailer tube with a short plastic tube bolted where a handlebar would go. I use it for a "handlebar" light mount. I suspect a similar setup would work for a computer. I've not used mine for my computer since the sensor cable is too short.

  • Oh, what a great idea. I'm not sure it'll fit on my dérailleur's post, but maybe I can slip an adapter in. Thanks, and happy triking!

    Dan

  • reminds me of the music video to "Today" by smashing pumpkins. that looks awesome to do though.

  • beautiful song and scenery... wish there was this kind of biking available here!

  • How do you stear them XP

  • There is a U-shaped handlebar that attaches to tie-rods to each front wheel. It's a simple push/pull technique. If you watch the beginning of the video closely you can see my wife holding and operating the steering mechinism.

  • cool video, looks like a beautiful place

  • i just watched the video for the music but i liked the video anyways

  • see if you can rent one to try it for a day before buying one

  • Awesome video! I'm wondering about buying a trike too, but I'm concerned that it just be too close to the ground -- do you ever get the feeling that you're looking at the tops of grass or the sides of walls instead of above them?

  • Can't be too close to the ground! Human powered gokart. Slower than 2 wheel bent or df, but who cares?
