  • you've got alot of trains there so cool

  • @daniel1234567893717 Hi Daniel, not as many as I had a few months ago. i sold off a lot of stock including the Class 201 and the Virgin coaches.

  • but still nice layout

  • @daniel1234567893717 Thanks Daniel..

  • well yes i should check my spelling.... i cant spell really .... so i cant say much myself.. i like the layout though

  • No 1 u got the spelling of the river wrong its the ''maine'' and the class 66 horn doesent suit the class 201

  • @daniel1234567893717 Hi, thanks for letting me know...I think you should check your spelling as well...(doesent)?

  • great stuff iv subbed very realistic 5 stars

  • This video is very well done. Thumbs UP. Gian :)

  • The DCC sound is superb on that model - presume the sound is a Class 66 chip? I saw some videos of the real 201s today and thought one would look good in EWS or DBS red livery.

  • @cmeonthemove Hi, yes it is a class 66 chip...Really nice looking engines, it would look good in the red!

  • is that real sound from a DCC chip or just what you have added to the vid?

    nice diesil

  • Fantastic layout, excellently filmed. a true 5* video.

  • Great!!

  • Awesome photography you could make a living out of doing you tube videos for folk.

  • @46rustler I just remembered to send you some more money :)

  • that is one strong locomotive where did you get the carriges and how much

  • lovely looking loco.

  • so you decided to get it in the end then.ive got to say it looks and sounds awsome.

a little bit of weathering and it will certainly be one of the top locos to buy.

a very good video once again sam and an inspiration to us all!!!

  • @bloodmarine77 Hi Terry, I had to sell off a few on Ebay but I think it was worth it, as you say it is a lovely model.

  • @HillsideModelRailway it does look good.i think i may have to get one.but i have my eye on a limited addition hornby class 31 in fragonset livery.have you seen my latest update yet?

  • Sam ,did you have any problems instaling the 66 decoder into the Irish 201?.

The Class 66 and the the 201 class are very similar, only the the 201 has a top

speed of 100 mph and the 66 has a top speed of 75 mph.The next batch of 201

models are due early next year with the orignal as delivered to IE livery sure to

be a big seller. As far as I know the NIR blue and original Enterprise livery will

be done as well. You can buy resprayed Hornby Mk3 coaches and brass overlays

    for EGV.

  • @eamonnredmond Hi Eamonn, No problem at all, I just did as you suggested. I cut off the standard Murphy speaker and put in the SWD chip with its own speaker. The SWD speaker is encased in a little oblong box and fits in perfectly. I have been very impressed with the sound, it's much better than I thought it would be. I have been in talks with Mr Branston and he likes the idea of his coaches coming over here so don't be too hasty in buying other rolling stock :)

  • Never been to Ireland to see their trains, you,ve just saved me a few euro,s cheers Tony.

  • @sheba31 Cheers Tony.

  • Absolutely stunning :):):)

  • @mccarronfamily I feel guilty about sending you links to my video's, when I know that you are working hard in your garage getting all the boards lined up and the electric's sorted out :) ...... But you did ask me once if I had any Irish loco's!!

  • Something quite different , really liked it .

  • Interesting look! Nice one

  • @itfcsam Thanks Sam, glad you liked it.

  • The sound is fab Sam,well done.Great layout.

  • @eamonnredmond Couldn't have done it without your help.

  • that has great sounds on it ....great job

  • Brilliant, great layout

  • Brilliant video as always Sam. The loco and coaches make a good pairing.

    Good sound aswell. Congratulations.

  • Super machine with good sound, i like it !

  • Very nice indeed.

  • Super Vid thanks for posting. Good idea!

  • Nice one mate, I do like the formation of that train. As a later investment, have a look for the matching DVT which is 82126 as that would look sweet at the rear of the train. Great video and I really enjoyed this. This is going into my favourites.

    Ash.

  • @EWS60008 Ash, you do realise that you are seriously going to bankrupt me! .....(can the DVT be bought separately?)

  • @HillsideModelRailway: Sam, there is no rush to get the DVT mate. If you want to get the DVT seperately, I would recommend having a word with "TrainsOnTime" as they are based in Paisley and they often split up train sets and train packs. So he might be able to do you a good deal on the DVT and he takes PayPal as well.

  • Nic looking Loco with a good sound

  • @howarth004 Thanks Dave, Its fitted with a class 66 sound chip. I think it has the same engine as a 66 but its power is restricted for the shorter distances in Ireland (I think)
