I hate to say it, but Survival of the Dead was absolutely terrible and Romero is one of my favorite Directors. I'm glad he is thriving outside the studio system, but boy... I saw Survival at the Seattle International Film Festival and I wasn't the only one who thought it was nonsense.

If the bodies of these victims are prosthetic im interested in knowing where their real body of the actor is as the scene occurs such as the last scene in Day of the Dead where the major gets torn apart, yet he is still alive as it happens. know what im saying?

Survival of the Dead was embarrassing. It was barely watchable. I thought Land of the Dead and Diary were deeply flawed, but this is just unacceptable. Absolute dross.

this film was not as good as i thought it might be but it was still a great watch, i love all romeros zombie films. the main thing that bugged me was the cheap looking cgi. the days of tom savini and day and land of the dead, the gore fx were amazing and realistic, cgi just looks shit and cheapens the film. survival must of have a low budget and time scale. there were zombies with grey faces and normal skin color necks and hands which i thought was kinda sloppy for a romero film.

This movies sucks, I like most of George.A Romero's movies but this one is awfull, and what's with the racism? I don't normally say this but the ONLY black zombies in the entire movie, is in a scene where there are 20+- black zombie heads (and only black), stuck on poles in a line, and thats it more black zombies whatsoever. I thought it was a little weird that I couldn't see any black zombies when the movie is based in america, then when i finally find some they are being tortured. :/

The original Dead trilogy are fucking classics and 3 of the greatest movies of alltime. Land Of The Dead was good for an action film. It even had a few effective "Boo" moments. Diary was far too slow paced but still watchable. Survival looks like pure shit. Romero should have never put in computer FX. The computer FX look like pure shit.
