  • Yeah and they are soooo! good.

If you try them let me know how you like them.

Someone suggested putting mashed banana in them.

I don't know how that actually worked.

    But thank you.

  • Looks awesome !

  • Hi, Marjorie, how about if I put in mashed banana and oat bran, please advise the quantities of these items. Looking forward for your reply. Thanks.

  • Waffles are usually made by beating the egg white and folding it into the batter.

Could be worth a try. Let me know how it comes out.

    Happy New Year!

  • how to make them waffles..add a bit of oil???

  • I am so happy to hear that you tried them.

  • wow!! this is fantastic! thank you! tastes great:)

  • I use Grapeseed oil for my pancakes.I also Put some mashed sweet potatos in my batter and make sweet potato pancakes with ground oatmeal i make into more of a oat flour. topped with raw honey and cinnamon when done.

  • Excellent! One thing though, the veg oil should be replaced with nothing less than sunflower oil, apricot oil or coconut oil. Veg oil is at the bottom of the list for health along with quick oats. Never use quick oats they have been stripped and nature and synthetic added.

  • Margie, thanks for sharing your recipe and instructions. I love the way you presented it.... Quick but concise. I really like the idea too of making a batch for the week and making a few in the morning to take to work. I'll be trying this.

  • Hi there..I love the way you present this and the detail is excellent. Made a batch this morning for the first time and they were great...went down a storm :) I have 5 children and this recipe made plenty for all of us xx Sarah UK

  • Oh wow! I can't wait to try this! Those look amazing!!! The diner near my old place used to make pancakes that looked like this and they were delicious! I'm a pancake lover so I had to get them all the time (me and my honey the waffle enthusiast lol). Maybe this is the recipe they used. Thank you so much for posting. I'll try this with some whole wheat flour too. Look absolutely yummy!

  • Hi Marjorie These pancakes can use some vanilla extract and some cinnamon. How many pancakes does this batch make ?

  • Thank you very much. I make these pancakes often!! .I keep the batter in the frig. for the week and make 2 pancake in the morning and put peanut butter between them. Warm them up later at work.

These pancakes with the peanut butter (not syrup) make me feel good and not hungry for hours and I actually feel as though I eaten something pretty healthy.

Let me know what you think.
