  • Check out the mommas face at about 9:45. Obviously that girl is doing one of those new fangled rock and roll dances. Ahhhh the happy 1950's family all gathered around the table in their finery' praising God and thanking the Fuhrer for their food and the Lliberty that the State hath provided. Arnold does an incredible job of deprecating the American Dream...God, Family, Country. Father looks like he is jacking off at the table from 3:52 onwards, while mother looks away disapprovingly.

  • Oh this is fucking fantastic! If you manage to sit through the entire 12 minutes of this, it will be worth your effort, but you have to already be half crazy to do it! Or at least you will be when its over. Now lets all go look at some artwork by Francis Bacon, Hans Bellmer, and Rudolph Schwarzkogler.

  • Love this guy!

  • After watching it for 2 minutes I ran out and punched a baby in the face.

  • This made me want to start making youtube poop.

  • Even though it may be technically easy to pull this off now, I think his selection of footage and execution still make it meaningful somewhat freaky.

  • Love this

  • HURRY UP! I'M TRYING TO, BUT THE DEMOCRATS ARE FUCKING IT ALL UP!

  • what did this Martin Arnold intend to accomplish with this?

  • @nativepoint14 Well, according to my teacher, Martin Arnold changed the original movie in order to show the patriarcal domination. But I agree it's so strange and disturbing.

  • @nativepoint14 Nothing. That's the point of experimental film.

  • yea yea yea

  • yeah, fix that fuckin' door

  • Brilliant, but now it's actually super easy to do so it kinda lost it's meaning

  • I have the biggest fucking headache now.

  • Ye olde YouTube poop

  • @Jameslh605 1993 ain't THAT ye olde

  • I saw this in class today and was the only one trying to stop myself from dying laughing. YTPs have ruined my life.

  • Saw this in my film class the other day. My life is now complete.

  • Gorgeous. We so often forget that movies are nothing more than a series of portraits with sound playing over it. Dicking with film like this is not only amusing, it's beautiful. It's great to see a filmmaker making something with film, not just copying standard practices.

  • @thebestatspace search up youtube poop

  • I would have burned the fucking building down if I had been made to watch this before youtube was around.

  • I can't imagine how hard it was to splice all the film together to make this. Truly, this is a masterpiece.

  • I understand the meaning of life now.

  • This video reminds me how incredibly frustrated I am that I can't afford a pioneer DVD turntable. I was a scratch dj for roughly a decade, and if I could get my hands on one... the possibilities...

  • @SvenBoogie my guess is that someone will make a decent timecode controllable video software before that thing is cost effective, its price is still very high to be reasonable for your average DJ, although yeah I choke a little when I see them being used as simple CDJs apparently there are some DJs that say that those are even better than CDJ 1000s

  • Although I agree this may have been the first YouTube Poop-like video, and may have been the influence to what we now call YouTube Poop, it's technically not the first YTP. This video was not uploaded to YouTube when it was made, in order to be a YouTube Poop, it must be on YouTube. Sorry, Orpheus, but SuperYoshi's video is still technically the first YouTube Poop.

  • I'm wainting for Terry Bogard to ask about their well being.

  • i watch a 30 second commerical in 11mins?

  • wow, even back then they repeated parts of a video way more times than nessecary

  • This feels a LOT longer than eleven and a half minutes.

You should really sit through it though. It gets funnier the longer you watch.

  • jesus fucking christ lol

  • the first youtube poop

  • @crbn64 and the best

  • just fantastic / makes me want an optical printer so bad

  • I watched this in an animation class because of its "brilliance". I couldn't keep a straight face watching this thing.

  • So brilliant. Been looking out for this since seeing it at an experimental film night a few years back, many thanks!

  • 5:00

  • Put it in Mute...then listen to dubstep! is Crazy!!!!!!!!
