@kakashi1o Its the PC version! I believe you can still download the demo (free), the game itself on the PC I think it down to $15-$20 from Steam or you can find it at Gamestop used for maybe that much or less. You need at least a dual core CPU and a mid-range card, this is a HD4670, the newest version is the HD5670. If you can swing the HD5770 however it will run at 60+fps
@ukjams How could it? Its a slower clock speed than the HD4670? I haven't played this game in 9-10 months however and that was two or three driver cycles ago, its likely faster, but there's noway a HD4550 is faster than a HD4670 and no testing will support that.
I'm planning on getting the HD4670, the 1GB GDDR3 Version. I have loads of games that will ru great on it, like.. FC2 GRID BioShock Crysis Warhead. My system: Intel C2D E6300 @ 2.4Ghz 2GB Ballistix 1066MHZ RAM 1333MHZ FSB Should run well! :D
Which is about 50 dollars more expensive. Besides, the 4830 kicks its ass and is 100 bucks on Newegg. ATI > Nvidia when it comes to midrange. The HD4890 looks promising, too.
4670 and The New Big Card from ATI Radeon 4890 1 Gb Kick your Videocard !!!!!!

dj4monie Nice Movie and I like The Song I s Great . Nice Job . Bravooo
Max I believe was 64FPS Max, 35FP Low, Avg was 45FPS. The "Chop" you see was not in the game as I was playing it, it was caused by GameCam. I turned some of the detail down but it still looks fantastic. I haven't gotten the whole game yet, I might pick up later this month. I've been playing GT-L on the PC and Pro Race Driver 3 on my PS2 lately.
4830 is better but wasn't available when I bought my card and there were only rumors of a crippled HD48xx card. This is played on a Gateway 24" monitor. If your playing on a larger LCD TV, then this card handles every game on the market without a problem. If your on a 26" PC LCD, then maybe you want to get something more robust, but seeing that 22" monitors are becoming a regular site, HD4670 is hard to beat.
More FPS wouldn't make it run faster, it just would run smoother. But its already smooth for a $70 card and on older games like NFS Pro Street, its on max detail period and HD (1920x1200). I also run GT-L and GTR2 in HD, runs fine and fast, look at some of the choppy GTR2 replays on here, inferior cards....
4850 is the new bang for buck ... a 4670 4830 and 4850 are all upgrades i would say 4670 is good but then the 4830 isn't that much more so get it then the 4850 isn't that much more so why not get it then at the end of the day you end up with a 4870 x2 !!!
Depending on your screen size if you play on default resolution, I would say HD4830 is more than likely the budget card to have. If you just can't spend more than $80 a HD4670 FTW, the 9600GT is a bit faster but in gameplay you won't see a difference. Best High End Budget card now is HD4850x2 actually.... But to be honest playing GRID@1920x1200 (1080p) with a $70 card is pretty impressive if you ask me...
dam $70... if i want a 4670 its gonna run me $100(canadian). Im actually gonna buy my first gpu tmr for my very first build. Its a 9800gtx+ for only $178. Cant wait.
Ok, so I got the song. But I don't seem to fidn that pop poping up when the video is playing. Do you know this song? Because I can't find which remix is it. All I have found are 3 remixes and one original. But nothing sounds like this one.
Pad? Keyboard? HA! MS Sidewinder Wheel USB 1.1 (Non Feedback) GRID can be used with a XBox 360 Wireless Controller if you have to use a joypad, I would recommend that if you don't want a wheel and to be honest I get tired of setting up my wheel to use, when I don't race that often on the PC.
hey can you give me your full computer specs and how much your power supplie is couse im thinking of getting this card i also have 3 gigs of ram but i have 6000+ amd 64X2 (3.0 ghz) and i want to know if my 288 watt power supplie will handle it thanks
ATI recommends 400W and higher and 550W with Crossfire X. I would upgrade my PSU if I were you. Many reviews report 65-75W current draw and while its possible to run this card with a 280W supply, it really depends on what else is powered by it. I believe 64x2 are 65W CPU's, different drives draw different levels of power. I would just get a good 500W PSU and be done with it. They are affordable.
Did you want me to post a still of the graphic settings? Its 1920x1200, High, Shadows Low, all else default which is HIGH. As you can see 35fps I could post another video with the FPS but why? No reason to lie...
for 100 bucks this card is truly compelling, this video proves that mate :) now even the budget goers out there can get a piece of the action. Nice post man!
It cost me $94 tax and shipping - $79 before that.... So its under $100. The HIS Dual Slot versions are $99-$110 and that's a bit too close to Nvidia 9600GT and not quite the value single slot HD 4670. Best things are no PCI-e connector needed and its alot smaller than the 9600GT, fits in 90% cases people have, especially those with cheap Dell and HP boxes, makes there machines instantly playable with modern games.
I believe your the 1st person on youtube to upload a video on the HD4670 card! lol Im thinkin of gettin this- If you could show more vids on how the card performs that'd be great!
I believe I am and I would have had one up sooner if I could gotten decent video quailty before. Racing the game isn't hard, its on extreme, not easy to beat but I don't drive with a keyboard so maybe it is easier....
Did I say HD 4670 was the best? I have said it is the best card for its price range without foolish rebate nonsense. The HD 4850 is better but I didn't want to spend over $100, so I didn't and got this.
FRAPS is free but it only records videos for 30 seconds per the trial, you have to buy it for $37US to get the full version with has unlimited recording features. The card is $79US on New Egg, they also have the MSI version and the HIS ICE-Q for slightly more and HIS also released its overclocked version, the ICE-Q Turbo for $99 which I'm afraid is too close to the price of a 9600GT.
FRAPS Low FPS - 3 Max FPS - 62 Average - 34.5 I would have posted a FRAPS video, but even at a reduced cost of $37US it was a bit rich for my blood. I went with GameCam V2 and I'm still working with its settings. Other games? I play racing games on the PC. I have GTR2, GT Legends, Race '07 and NFS: Pro Street. I have no interest in FPS or point-n-click games, you'll have to wait for somebody to post those.
According to many reviews it would only pick up about 10fps by dropping the resolution. But that would be the average. I already get 60+fpss at top speed, drops between 40-50fps around corners and heavy on the brakes to around 20fps but it doesn't stutter or slow down. I'm actually quite happy with playing it at 1920x1200, it average 35fps. It looks better than Pro Race Driver 3 on the PS2 and that runs 60fps and I can't tell a difference in gameplay.
Dude, awful driving ....

lol HD4670 to play at 1920x1200?
ish718 3 years ago
Did you want me to post a still of the graphic settings? Its 1920x1200, High, Shadows Low, all else default which is HIGH. As you can see 35fps I could post another video with the FPS but why? No reason to lie...

Never said you was lying, lol.
How does that card run cod4?
ish718 3 years ago
It can probably max cod4 on most resolutions

for 100 bucks this card is truly compelling, this video proves that mate :) now even the budget goers out there can get a piece of the action.

DUDE 4850 is the best xD i have a MSI 4850 im happy with it ::DD
Gamesvideoss 3 years ago
Did I say HD 4670 was the best? I have said it is the best card for its price range without foolish rebate nonsense. The HD 4850 is better but I didn't want to spend over $100, so I didn't and got this.

yes i agree ... u have a point ;)

Thanks for the answer.
37 for fraps ? i didn t understand, well, at least, i downloaded it from the web for free.
This VGA is about 80dlls, isnt it ?

FRAPS is free but it only records videos for 30 seconds per the trial, you have to buy it for $37US to get the full version with has unlimited recording features. The card is $79US on New Egg, they also have the MSI version and the HIS ICE-Q for slightly more and HIS also released its overclocked version, the ICE-Q Turbo for $99 which I'm afraid is too close to the price of a 9600GT.

You can use FRAPS to show us the FPS of the game.
Do you test the video card in another game ?
Duelightz 3 years ago
