Now, if you want to see something interesting, I advise you to add luminosity on the photo AS15-88-11975; I can guarantee you that you'll be surprised.

I find your photos interesting, but I'm not sure how revealing. On one photo you mention stairs and a table. A table? Why would you have a table out on a dead world? What is the point? The stairs could lead to an underground base or whatever, but why would there be a table on the surface? I just don't buy all of this, but I do appreciate the time and effort you put into it and find it all very interesting. Thanks!
I am not been funny but if there was something on the moon why wouldn't they create a totally fake image instead on manipulating a real one? It would have been far easier for them to do that.
Why don't you ask NASA to release ALL original photos and negatives, so we once and for all can prove who is right and who is wrong! Fact is that the originals are ALL classified as TOP SECRET. Requests issued according the Freedom Of Information Act have not led to any result. Why has this material been classified, when there is nothing to hide from the public? No debunker can answer that question ...

It is logical to think there is more out there than we are been told, it is not logical to think that any photos especially from the era these are from are originals that have been edited. The originals (if they showed anything or interest) will have been buried so deep or destroyed long long ago.

I can't be sure whether I'm angry at you or thankful that you looked into such a subject. It seems that some of these conspiracy theories may have some slight base in this subject matter which is a terrifying thing. It's all enlightening nevertheless - another reason to keep your head in reality and look for truth.

This is nice and all, but you're working with JPG images as your source. JPG is a lossy format, which creates artifacts. Also, since this is a digital format, you're limited to a set number of pixels and a limited palette. I doubt you will see these "weird" things with an analog picture unless you zoom in so far you get to grain level.
You also refer to some dark areas as pits. Those are just shadows. Since there is no atmosphere for light to scatter on, it's really dark in the shadow.
I use JPG and JIFF files. I have not zoomed in on any of these images. The artifacts you see are the ones created through NASA's tampering and made visible by my software. I have found a lot more of these manipulations and in my upcoming video I will reveal better and more manipulations without using too much forensic software. In fact you can reveal most of them with ordinary software.
This is all very interesting, but I have a few questions. Could these shapes you are finding not be created by either A) the printing methods of the original photographs or B) weathering due to age?
Hard to tell. We may assume that NASA would have handled film negative and original photos with the utmost care. I would be very unwise to mistreat this precious materials. As no one has seen any original photos till this date we can be certain that they are kept and in a well preserved manner in a safe.
NASA has / had special training programs for ground personnel and astronauts how to handle photo and video material. You do not go to the moon that often so every picture is unique!
Yes, im serious, dont know are they all, but at least some of the pictures in your movie were panoramas stitched together. Im absolutely not trying to debunk your findings, just saying that SOME of artefacts you found (great job) may be effect of it.

NASA is anything but a civilian organization. Astronauts sign(ed) a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the US government. As such ALL information is confidential unless it is made public by the official public media officers or explicitly after approval of the US Government (read: Department of defense). Any violation of the NDA will have severe "personal" consequences. An astronaut will think twice before he / she releases anything to the public without NASA / DOD approval.
Users that accuse me of photoshop or keep repeating that I do not know anything about image manipulation are deleted when they cannot prove anything. Just to say that my work is (*****) does not work, I need proof! So take the images, Google for them, you can find the image numbers in the left corner and do your best!

Sure I can. I am not the first person to detect these tamperings. What I did is making a movie of my findings and in some cases make use of a new software. One that is going to be used in science and is the result of many years of hard work. I do not question the effectiveness of this application.
Could you make a video explaining this technique. I have no clue what i am seeing. Why aren't it random patterns? What happens with a normal image when you process it like that? What patterns appear?
The technique is simple. The software looks at the tiniest deviations in contrast and than uses algorihms to amplify the contrast levels between fore - and background. It lifts hidden data from the picture and puts
it in in front. Does it work always? No, the photo should not be too bright and there must be enough data available to work with. It works best on B/W photos. On a bright / colour image it does not work (well)
The application is still experimental (beta-phase) so no video.

I have no idea what has gone on with it but again you only hide something that you dont want others to see. I tried to do a video mentioning that as well as other things that are going on. Could you do your research and a video on what google maps is hiding or photoshopping? just zoom into the sea bed because something is drastically and weirdly wrong. Thanks. MB
@kiolm100 Just because NASA likely manufactured, faked or manipulated most of the video and photos made available to the public during the "official" moon-landing....doesn't necesarrily mean we have never been there. Who knows what black-ops projects may have gone or when the photos were truly taken? But it seems NASA is trying to hide something so I'm inclined to believe there is a reason for obvious airbrushing, etc.
One simple thing we never received any pictures from the moon .the flag the rover any of the stuff we left behind why. We can look across the universe but nothing from the moon the closest thing in our universe
Very Interesting. I do not know much about film scanning and photo manipulation but this inspires me to do some more research on the subject. Even if they are errors as 97520 said It would be interesting if you went over the Mars photos as well to get more data on what happens when you use the same technology and technique on both old and new Martian photos. That would hopefully improve our understanding on the subject of NASA photo manipulations a bit better.

you do know they didn't hold cameras? they were mounted onto the chest piece of their suit. the last example is just proof of poor research and coming up with any harebrained answer and saying that its true.
The camera had no "rigid" connection. The front panel of the remote-control unit (RCU) contained a set of vertical rails that received a bayonet on the rear of the custom pistol-grip bracket attached to the bottom of the camera body. To attach the camera, the astronaut simply slid the bracket down into the rails. It was held in place by gravity and friction. To remove it, the astronaut lifted up on the pistol grip and the camera slid free with little resistance.
@1967sander I don't see where you are going with this? you cant see the camera in the reflection because hes way too far away, you can't even make out the color of the visor, if you cant see that his visor is not the same color of his suit how would you see the camera?
There are several images taken on Apollo missions by the astronauts, they could not have taken with a camera attached to their bodies. The astronauts were very afraid of tumbling / falling as they would have tremendous problems getting up on their feet. There is evidence of that on video. They always tried to keep their bodies in perfect balance and perpendicular to the moon surface. They made close-ups of the moon surface. How could they do that with a camera on their body?
@1967sander yes look at that astronaut you can clearly see where on his space suit the camera would mount to, watch some of the moon landing videos and I guarantee that is exactly where you will see a camera mounted during space walks.
Have you tried google map and sky with your program? How about Antarctica North and South Pole? this will be interesting to see if you are able to do it. Good work...
@1967sander great expose, thanks, in the videos there are few places where it seems like they are being lifted up by a wire, and some light reflections off the wires, can you try to analyze those frames with this software and see if anything stands out?

Any Photographs from Apollo Missions claiming to show proof of structures on the moon is disinfo, it only serves to strengthen the idea amongst truthseekers that we went to the moon in 1969 with a Saturn V. I cant believe ppl still think we went to the moon with the Apollo Missions. The LEM is made out of tin foil and the astronauts could not survive the radiation. Its as simple as that.
Yes and no. Law enforcement agencies work with software capable of finding deviations between original pixel structure and the pixel structure of an edited part. It creates a new image of these altered pieces in the picture. Literally filters the manipulation from the photo. As mentioned in the video I use a similar less effective type of software, called E.L.C. It takes a lot of experience to interpretate the findings of E.L.C. but once you know it the results are very good.
With all due respect, as a pro photographer of several decades and extensive experience with film scanning, all I see are scanning artifacts and a few chemical sploches. By expanding contrast ranges all sorts of artifacts and patterns will appear on any low key film scans. You are not the first to make these errors and I suspect you will not be the last.

@borusch1 . Good questions MB. I too have found Google Ocean a bit frustrating. As I understand it the seafloor representations are not photographic at all. They are visual representations of sonar data and as such provide no real visual detail except for the basic shape of the seabed. So in my view it is not so much that things are being deliberately hidden as much as the resolution limits of the process hides just about all visual data.

NASA already had glassfibre technology in the early sixties. The US Airforce successfully tested a by nuclear technology driven rocket-engine in the late fifties. So where do you think their level of technology is today?
@1967sander Well, yes. But antigravity and radiation protection applicable to small spacecraft? There is no way you can escape Moon with gravity only 30% less than on Earth (look that way astronauts moved on the surface)
I could be mistaken but I have read some time ago in a science magazine that the moon's gravity is 16% of that of earth' s gravity. So you do not need any extreme propulsion to lift off from the moon. There apparantly is no atmosphere so the pressure on the surface is near to zero which also makes it easier to lift off (and jump high).
Whilst I applaud your ingenuity in applying a technique from a different field I can't help but wonder whether you are simply exposing the weakness of the jpeg image format?
Those "steps" are a dead ringer for compression artefacts that will be present in such a heavily compressed format as jpeg.
Compression of a 50Mb RAW image into a 5Mb jpeg is achieved by finding parts of an image that match and saying "part 25 is part 10 with a 10% hue adjustment" so any hidden detail in part 25 is lost.
Or rather "part 25 is 75% like part 10 rotated 90 degrees to the right with a 10% hue adjustment", the compressor considers this to be an acceptable match and the original detail within part 25 is discarded and replaced with the rotated, translated & adjusted copy of part 10.
The standard jpeg subsampling of this particular image is 2-1-1 - jpg quality estimate 94 % with low re-compression error of < 0.0.8 (rather high quality image for NASA images and therefore there are very few jpg artifacts ...
Take the 50Mb image and than compress it to jpeg format. You will never be able to create steps as shown in the video. Heavily compression would also damage the contours of the original "hill". There is a clear border between the hill and the steps, very unusual behaviour of jpeg artifacts.
Wow! Great enhancement of the pictures. I've never seen such detailed contrasts. The "blue man" was particularly interesting.

As a side note, no photo analysis will ever disprove the moon landings, and I think it is not the point anyway. The only thing we get from a thorough image analysis is proof of tampering which always raises more questions than it answers. And, man, how wonderful it is to uncover the humongous manipulations that have been done. Loved it
You and Stanley Kubrick have alot in common. Although, i doubt man can get through the Van Allen Radiation belts and survive, so im swayed by the fact we didnt go at all.

The part about the tape supposedly being put over something could easily be abnormalities formed by getting bits of the tape out by stretching it. I don't see how image software can see what's behind a completely black, non-transparent material.
The software cannot. It amplifies the tiniest bits of single pixel contrast deviations and translates that into a new image. What is not there this software also cannot make visible. You can try it with the brightness/contrast slider of your software though. It will show you contours of something below the tape!

conclusion: photos have been taken else where.
maybe the anomalies you've discovered are post production alterations to make the photos look genuine?

This is just incredible confirmation of some of the most fascinating "claims" that have cropped up over the years by many ex NASA whistle blowers and the like. The application does not have a trade name yet. The principle is called AMS or Automatic Multilayer (photo - and video frame) Segmentation but it is not only meant for multilayer images. It can also be used with single layer (JPEG) images. In due time it wll be released. Unless the project is cancelled / replace / delayed as often is the case with new software.

NASA is anything but a civilian organization. Astronauts sign(ed) a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the US government. As such ALL information is confidential unless it is made public by the official public media officers or explicitly after approval of the US Government (read: Department of defense). Any violation of the NDA will have severe "personal" consequences. An astronaut will think twice before he / she releases anything to the public without NASA / DOD approval.

Thanx! Couldn't find a single reference yet but i'm sure we will see more of this in the future! I certainly like the idea of looking at old data through new eyes. The idea they needed to manipulate these photos before release raises questions. now one can show clearly and unmistaken that that has been done. So far it has been much hear-say. Sure I can. I am not the first person to detect these tamperings. What I did is making a movie of my findings and in some cases make use of a new software. One that is going to be used in science and is the result of many years of hard work. I do not question the effectiveness of this application.

The technique is simple. The software looks at the tiniest deviations in contrast and than uses algorihms to amplify the contrast levels between fore - and background. It lifts hidden data from the picture and puts
it in in front. Does it work always? No, the photo should not be too bright and there must be enough data available to work with. It works best on B/W photos. On a bright / colour image it does not work (well)
The application is still experimental (beta-phase) so no video.

Hi Sander, Great work btw. I have noticed for a long time now that our sea bed has had the same photoshop treatment done to it. I have no idea what has gone on with it but again you only hide something that you dont want others to see. I tried to do a video mentioning that as well as other things that are going on. Could you do your research and a video on what google maps is hiding or photoshopping? just zoom into the sea bed because something is drastically and weirdly wrong. Thanks. MB

@kiolm100 Just because NASA likely manufactured, faked or manipulated most of the video and photos made available to the public during the "official" moon-landing....doesn't necesarrily mean we have never been there. Who knows what black-ops projects may have gone or when the photos were truly taken? But it seems NASA is trying to hide something so I'm inclined to believe there is a reason for obvious airbrushing, etc.

Very Interesting. I do not know much about film scanning and photo manipulation but this inspires me to do some more research on the subject. Even if they are errors as 97520 said It would be interesting if you went over the Mars photos as well to get more data on what happens when you use the same technology and technique on both old and new Martian photos. That would hopefully improve our understanding on the subject of NASA photo manipulations a bit better.

you do know they didn't hold cameras? they were mounted onto the chest piece of their suit. the last example is just proof of poor research and coming up with any harebrained answer and saying that its true.

The camera had no "rigid" connection. The front panel of the remote-control unit (RCU) contained a set of vertical rails that received a bayonet on the rear of the custom pistol-grip bracket attached to the bottom of the camera body. To attach the camera, the astronaut simply slid the bracket down into the rails. It was held in place by gravity and friction. To remove it, the astronaut lifted up on the pistol grip and the camera slid free with little resistance.

There are several images taken on Apollo missions by the astronauts, they could not have taken with a camera attached to their bodies. The astronauts were very afraid of tumbling / falling as they would have tremendous problems getting up on their feet. There is evidence of that on video. They always tried to keep their bodies in perfect balance and perpendicular to the moon surface. They made close-ups of the moon surface. How could they do that with a camera on their body?

Yes and no. Law enforcement agencies work with software capable of finding deviations between original pixel structure and the pixel structure of an edited part. It creates a new image of these altered pieces in the picture. Literally filters the manipulation from the photo. As mentioned in the video I use a similar less effective type of software, called E.L.C. It takes a lot of experience to interpretate the findings of E.L.C. but once you know it the results are very good.

With all due respect, as a pro photographer of several decades and extensive experience with film scanning, all I see are scanning artifacts and a few chemical sploches. By expanding contrast ranges all sorts of artifacts and patterns will appear on any low key film scans. You are not the first to make these errors and I suspect you will not be the last.

@borusch1 . Good questions MB. I too have found Google Ocean a bit frustrating. As I understand it the seafloor representations are not photographic at all. They are visual representations of sonar data and as such provide no real visual detail except for the basic shape of the seabed. So in my view it is not so much that things are being deliberately hidden as much as the resolution limits of the process hides just about all visual data.

I was doing photo retouching way before you were even born and with the advent of the digital age even more. I could be mistaken but I have read some time ago in a science magazine that the moon's gravity is 16% of that of earth' s gravity. So you do not need any extreme propulsion to lift off from the moon. There apparantly is no atmosphere so the pressure on the surface is near to zero which also makes it easier to lift off (and jump high).

Whilst I applaud your ingenuity in applying a technique from a different field I can't help but wonder whether you are simply exposing the weakness of the jpeg image format?
Those "steps" are a dead ringer for compression artefacts that will be present in such a heavily compressed format as jpeg.
Compression of a 50Mb RAW image into a 5Mb jpeg is achieved by finding parts of an image that match and saying "part 25 is part 10 with a 10% hue adjustment" so any hidden detail in part 25 is lost.

Or rather "part 25 is 75% like part 10 rotated 90 degrees to the right with a 10% hue adjustment", the compressor considers this to be an acceptable match and the original detail within part 25 is discarded and replaced with the rotated, translated & adjusted copy of part 10.

The standard jpeg subsampling of this particular image is 2-1-1 - jpg quality estimate 94 % with low re-compression error of < 0.0.8 (rather high quality image for NASA images and therefore there are very few jpg artifacts ...
What you see are no artifacts but something else.

Take the 50Mb image and than compress it to jpeg format. You will never be able to create steps as shown in the video. Heavily compression would also damage the contours of the original "hill". There is a clear border between the hill and the steps, very unusual behaviour of jpeg artifacts.

As a side note, no photo analysis will ever disprove the moon landings, and I think it is not the point anyway. The only thing we get from a thorough image analysis is proof of tampering which always raises more questions than it answers. And, man, how wonderful it is to uncover the humongous manipulations that have been done. Loved it

The part about the tape supposedly being put over something could easily be abnormalities formed by getting bits of the tape out by stretching it. I don't see how image software can see what's behind a completely black, non-transparent material.

The software cannot. It amplifies the tiniest bits of single pixel contrast deviations and translates that into a new image. What is not there this software also cannot make visible. You can try it with the brightness/contrast slider of your software though. It will show you contours of something below the tape!
