Barnes really is quite a poor vocalist. All the albums recorded with him were shocking....and that's coming from a big Old School DM fan. Corpsegrinder added more power and vocal range. Musically they became more diverse and technically proficient. Their songs became catchier and more identifiable. What did Barnes bring? A non descript, passionless and indecipherable growl with comically gory lyrics? Wow....such a loss.

Fuck, why can't I visit a CC video without this stupid Fisher/Barnes debate? They're both amazing vocalists in their own way! When I listen to the albums, I prefer Barnes, because I love the really guttural voice he did, but Corpsegrinder does have better stage-presence and is more articulate. =)

Barnes was an artist, and brought a certain feel to their music that is now gone.
