  • Rule #1 when working around machines. No jewelry , that includes necklaces

  • @PK102260

The necklace has a special light pressure release mechanism around the back so it is pulled from my neck with a little bit of pressure. it is the same mechanism that is used on my dog tags for racing.

very safe i assure you, and i didnt take it off because it is simply force of habit to wear it.

but thanks for noticing! it is an important safety point

  • should be wearing some safety glasses! but nice handle in the end.

  • @srslyusuck

Good point, i usually do. It is bad practice not to do so!

    thanks

  • Nice one man! If you aren't comfortable in your standing posission, you can rais your lathe to the same hight as the spindel is to your elbow when you are standing straight. Its gonna be more comfortable when you are turning. But if you are comfortable in that possision so go for it =D

  • @Diablo8900

I did find that stance to be pretty painfull the next day when my back hurt!

I think i may take that advice and jack the lathe up.

    Thanks

  • @JPBushcraft

    No problems! =D

  • Nice work! Looks great.
