@gangesexcavating 53 series and 71 series carried same valve covers. 92 series had more rectangular covers. 53 series V8 engines were really rare, mostly in early military applications, reason would say this is a 8v71N. There was also the 110 series which was discontinued in the early 60's. The "N" ending states it is a natural aspirated supercharged engine, whereas if it was a "T" ending it would be a Turbocharged. A common one is a 8V92T Big Silver series, supercharged, twin turbo.
