I don't mean this offensively, because I think you're individually talented. But I hate that modern singers have no idea how to sing. They riff constantly, they don't hold notes, and barely hold onto the melody. Stop taking notes from a Christina Aguilera songbook and take notes from old Whitney Houston. Music has gone so far downhill, and bad singers/technique are a large part of the reason why. Though, there's a lot more to it than just that

That girl has serious pipes, she just need a good producer to reign in her voice to fit within a song composition. Most producers don't know how to use her.

I used to watch MMC(The Mickey Mouse Club) way back when Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Kerry Russell(the star of "Felicity"), and Justin Timberlake were not famous yet.
