  • I guess when I say Walden Ridge, I'm referring to the ridge that runs parallel to the Cumberland Plateau on the east side of the Sequatchie Valley. It contains Prentice Cooper, Big Fork, Flat Top Mtn, and I guess goes all the way up above Oak Ridge. Big Fork is just a few miles from Prentice Cooper and is about the same stuff but not as much land. It's just some decent mudholes and a few rock beds. It's a fun place where you can go for a good half-day of riding just to get out.

  • We've ridden at Prentice Cooper and Aetna. What is Walden Ridge and Big Fork like compared to them?

How do you get to Walden Ridge to ride?

    Thanks!

  • As far as looking at a map, Aetna and Big Fork are both on the same Ridge, just different sides of the river. Big Fork is on the other side of Prentice Cooper from Aetna. As far as driving, I go to Aetna by getting off of I-24 at Tiftonia and go by Cracker Barrel. To get to Big Fork from there, you would take 24 to Hwy 27 and get off onto Signal Mtn Blvd then to Suck Creek Rd. Take it to the top of the mtn and go a couple miles past Prentice Cooper then take a right at the Big Fork sign.

  • Where is Big Fork in relation to Aetna?
