Hmm I dont know about you, but ive never heard one account of a cat being injured by a crow or raven. If they did go for the eyes wouldnt it happen quite a lot, crows being incredibly common and all.

Altho, ravens have been observed paying "catch me if you can" with cats and dogs.

crows are incredibly intelligent social birds known to gang up on anything they perceive to be a threat (for example crows are vulnerable to owls at night, and thus will gang up and attack owls during the day to eliminate threat)

however they probably wouldnt attack a cat unless there were babies nearby and the cat/child/whatever (they will not usually attack a full grown adult) is too close, and even then they are only aiming to drive it away, not kill it.
