  • @ dLimboStick

I agree too...the first albums were the best

  • Love that piano and bass line..Its so awesome..Tremdous album..I think it to be one of their best...Peace

  • This is when music was great, creative, and even hopeful.

  • Encore des souvenirs :)

  • When I'm falling down, is when your falling down, when you fall down.... I fall down....I-I fall down. Ah, love that bit. Especially the inflection of his voice. Simplicity at its best, yet says so much.

  • Julie, I'm sorry. Say something!

  • Who does the piano in this? and I hear some cow bell....

  • @christina812bugs The Edge

  • i could just imagine Supergrass doing a great cover of this..you can hear the influence of U2 in groups today

  • I personally see The Joshua Tree as their greatest achievement in terms of quality of music, but heck, all their stuff is awesome :D

  • I would have to say their first FOUR albums are my favourite. This is my favorite, along with Boy, and the Unforgettable Fire. War is awesome, too. But then they became more commercial and political, and their nadir was Rattle-n-Hum. But Achtung and Zooropa were awesome and their newer releases are good, too.

  • I love your videos! U2 ftw!

  • It sucks that this song isn't included in the live set from Under a Blood Red Sky

  • Feel bad for the Edge. He spent the rest of career wearing a ski caps and otherwise concealing his head to redeem himself from the terrible aldum cover photo of his poofy but otherwise balding quiff of hair. When they posed for the photo, he probably never imagined they'd be so successful and this album would travel around the world.

  • One person fell down

  • I love some of the melodies on the October album. I think U2 wrote some of their best tunes on it. However, had they stayed the same they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have, so we shouldn't complain really...I mean can you imagine no "Achtung Baby" and "All That You Can't Leave Behind"?

  • Precious song.

  • my fave u2 album. i miss them like this

  • @Theginger22790 I see a trend: people (like me) who like early U2 more than later era U2 seem to like Zooropa as well. Interesting :)

  • @akrotirifry9 i think only "New line on the horizon" is not worth listening, all the others are great

  • U2 MASTERPIECE!!!

  • A classic, anytime, anywhere

  • @Theginger22790 Hey love that album, I bought it back in 94 and couldnt wait for the next one.

  • Yes. The first three albums are my favorites. (2)

  • @Theginger22790 No :) Freaking love Zooropa. Also my third favorite album. The experimentation is incredible!

  • if they carry on like this, they become the Rolling Stones or WHO or any of the bands that never change their style and suck for ever.

  • if they carry on like this, they become the Roliing Stones or Cure or WHO or any of the bands that never change their style and suck for ever.

  • uuuuuuuuuu22222222222222 best band ever

and if you dont agree then fuk off .. i dont care

just glad i dont have shit taste like you ..

  • @coolbluezzzz well said

  • @coolbluezzzz So, how do you really feel about this comment of yours? It is your opinion, and you have a right to it.

  • WHY are they ashamed of this album, and why do people say it almost buried their career? i love this album!

  • @radiokevin I don't think they're so ashamed of it, but I think they regard it as one of their least best efforts because it was produced under duress. They were touring extensively at the time, and Bono's briefcase went missing with all the notes for this album and they had to start from scratch...they did well considering. Incidentally Bono's briefcase was stolen and was returned to him in 2000.

  • @Tommysgirl14 yes, good point. it is just such an amazing album

  • one of thier best albus. got thier VIDEO yes video at red rocks absolutey brilliant ..

  • this is one of their best albums <3

  • This is heaven in music form. :)

the beginning of the 80's really rocks!!!

  • This IS an amazing Album. And they couldn't stay the same because they had to evolve...all bands do. And the last two albums have been less than amazing...but i have faith they will produce more at the level once again.

  • i love this album - why couldn't they have carried on like this...

  • @pagglejamia Yes. The first three albums are my favorite.

  • @dLimboStick Glad to see so many people think like me :D

  • @pagglejamia i agree thier old stuffs better than thier new stuff

  • @pagglejamia If they did it would be boring and the same like those shit bands who repeat like Greenday ,

    pearl jam etc.........

  • @luieu2 Pearl Jam don't repeat themselves, educate yourself

  • @pagglejamia the music scene changes, people get older and your fans grow up, plus just like the arguments for more albums like Joshua Tree, they didn't want to become a cliche of themselves i.e. only can do one style of music, you need to evolve to stay relevant or you'll end up playing nostalgia gigs like the 80s festival that ABC, Bananarama etc do

  • @pagglejamia They did carry on like this.

October was different to War which was different to the Unforgettable Fire which was different to The Joshua Tree which was...

I wasn't a fan of All That You Can't leave Behind, but each to their own.
