Uh... Where the hell did you guys just pick up M80s and M1000s for this video. I think an investigation is in order. Was the proper paperwork filed? Were they transported according to DOT standards? Watermelon with m-1000...If there were no other evidence in this video that the CPSC doesn't have a clue what they're talking about that was it. You would think that the very organization regulating fireworks in this country would know that M-80 is just a military call name just like M-16. Throwing 1000 after the M means absolutely nothing. It is simply one of many scare tactics used to make things seem larger and more dangerous.

Granted, I believe large salutes should be illegal. They are one of the very few fireworks that are dangerous no matter how you handle them. But this is one obvious example of what the CPSC is doing currently to consumer fireworks that should be and always have been legal. Go online and mail your representatives. Make sure that on a future 4th of July all you're legally able to light is a candle.
