Playing this game. Very ass for a game. One reason why gears of war was fun was because of the co-op. This game is single player, so expect to take cover as enemy yo are aiming at takes cover and the next one pops up. Controls are very clunky. This game was probably intended for the home market since the wording is in Japanese. Even for a first attempt, this game is disappointing.

Yes the gameplay was twitchy and un-refined. But think, this was Koei Tecmo's first third person shooter. KT has basically done Dynasty Warriors and the like. This was NOTHING like what they'd done to date. For their first excursion, I say it's pretty damn good!
I for one, hope this gets a sequel, there's so much potential. Co-Op campaign, expanded storyline, multiplayer tower raids, ect.
I love this game, and want to see it get a 2nd shot.

Gears got a limtied gamplay, to much cover based, it got a 4 hour great story campaign and a great but buggy multiplayer.I hope they will fix it in the gears 3.
Quantum Theory give you more possible to do. Cover wasn't always the best, you will even forced to get out the cover or without cover.Climbing. 3 Melees possibles. 8 Hours of Singleplayer gameplay. Classic Multiplayer modes DM TEAM DM or Guardian. QT is more for pro.

Uhh? Its not the gameplay, this game just completely copied off the premise of GoW. Bunch of big dudes with big guns forming up as a resistance to fight off a monstorous race for the survival in a post apocalyptic or nearly defeated sort of setting and being a tps where you take cover and have a squad. And the protaganist is a big dude with a mysterious past and a scar. Wtf

Gears+Darksiders+Dark Sector, that's the vibe I get from this. And when a game combines elements from THREE different games, it's not really a copy of anything.

Copy of Gears? mmmh I see total different character, weapon, ambientation and weapon design. Having similar gameplay to GoW doesn't mean that the game is copied.

I'm sick of post apocalyptic shooters, I want more high tech civilization shooters like Red Faction II, Snowblind, Deus Ex, Unreal.... I'm sick of seeing Grey and brown, i want to see bright vibrant Neon. (the only one in recent memory is Blacklight Tango Down))
