I`ve followed FC since the sixties and still do but have to say they lost something with the loss of Denny, Thompson, Swarb etc. They still sound great but the guts of youth is gone and the cardigans arrived. Shame.

you britos have been at war with nearly everybody in the civilized world at one time or another thousands of wars with thousands of people until you moronic blundering in world war I and 2 cost you greatly. now in the twilight of your wretched stupid country you at last have been pacified
You're putting some true gems up here! I seem to recall Fairport also performing this on GMTV at around the same time, though maybe I'm misremembering.
Huw and Tony wrote some excellent songs - this has to be one of the most beautiful.

I love Simon Nicol - this line up is magical. Always a brilliant night out if you are quick enough for a ticket.

What a great song - Simon's voice is so perfect for it.

Hi there,
Yes I was there at the front it was one of the best sets I've heard at Cropredy mainly because
of some of lovely Sandy Denny tributes I really enjoyed the weekend
All the best
