  • This is gonna be one hell of a plane!

Can't wait to see her fly! Good luck :)

  • Billyd u r the man, I can't wait to see the maiden flight. I wish I could be there. You should set a date and a place to see how many people show up. I might be tempted. But I wouldn't leave without an autograph.

  • Ready for more!

  • Billyd, you that man!! Great work! Can't wait to see it finished. Wives of Rc-ers', (also know as 'rc widows'), are wonderdul people for having so much patience. Rc certainly does take up a lot of room.

    Great stuff!

  • Great update and i see you said to one of your other subscribers you might sneak in on the paint job if you do i'll be looking out fir that video ;-) great work by the way = 5*

  • Hi Billy, I seem to notice that your camera

?autofocus? seems to be going in and out or there is a problem with my viewing it on youtube.

Look at the video and look at something that doesn't move and let me know if you see it going in and out of autofocus. Thanks for the update.

  • Your right.. It is time for a new camera!!!

  • Good job Billy!

  • WOW!! I can appreciate your dedication...man...looking good...lets see the paint process too..

  • I'm going to try to sneak in with the camera and video some of the paint going on it!!!

  • Nice job Billy! This is definitely the way my dad would do this, with epoxy, self made composites, and good old woodwork. I can't wait to see this fly.

  • Nice work Billy!!! The upgrades look good...I think she will hold together O.K. The wood parts you made to replace the plastic ones look good...Well done...On a F-16 those are the speed brakes..They open like clam shells...Great work!!!

  • how fast do you think you will get it flying?

  • NO Clue. we will find out soon!!!

  • Thanks for the update i've been woundering how it was comming along. It looks really good. Have you ever flown edf's before ?

  • YES I have.BUT not this big..

  • Your jet scares me... I cant wait to see it painted.

  • That looks like it's going to be a nice look'n jet. I can't wait to see the paint job that you have in mind for it.

  • Hi Billy

I flew one in 1980, I was demo pilot for a hobby store. Back then it was uderpowered with a 61 speed engine.

But first in the air it was ok, even high-alpha was no problem.

Looping was tricky, if you lost the speed at the top, then it go in a virtical dive, and you could only hope you had the height to recover.

But nice bird, keep up the good work

    Good luck

  • Great update. Can't wait to see it in the air.

  • ^^ ditto, can't wait to see that beast fly

  • It looks like that's gonna be one crazy plane. It'll be great to see it painted
