  • how far back is your mufler

  • @13jm31 If your talking about the flowmaster it was right about in the middle, it isnt true dual, it comes in as 1 pipe, then splits out to two to make the dual chrome tips. THANKS FOR WATCHIN!

  • Mines a fuckin 2002 s10 3 speed. Is that lame? Please tell me

  • @starzskater33 whats it got in it??

  • @AlmostSmosh the 4.3L vortec v6

  • @starzskater33 with a 3 speed?!? what kinda tranny is it?! a 350 turbo??

  • @AlmostSmosh i thinks its a 4 speed with a blown up first gear

  • @AlmostSmosh

is it a stock tranny or was it put in, and 3 speeds arent necessarily bad if its the right kind of tranny lol... but i got a 91 sonoma 4.3L all stock but almost i hate to say it but mines a bit louder without pipes lol

  • @ddb3333 Well yeah its gunna be louder witout any restrictions lol, check out my Malibu video, its basically all headers!

  • Thanks for sharing! I had an 1995 S-10 Extended Cab nearly identical to your truck (including the Sony stereo- I could tell from the warning beeps). It was the same color, had a 4.3L V6, a 5-speed transmission and a Flowmaster single inlet, dual outlet muffler.

It was a great truck and I wish that I still had it.

Your truck is really nice and sounds awesome!

  • @brian5o yeah bro im in your same shoes that truck long gone! it was an awesome truck and was totaled not to long after that :( go check out my other 2.2 that had all the parts from this 1! you can definatly hear a diff in exhaust!

  • @brian5o ive sold both (the totaled 4.3 and the 2.2) and am starting the new project... I still want another s10, maybe after i finish the mali?!?

  • Wow that sounds really good.

  • How much total did you spend to do this?

  • @PUCK271 around $400 at exhaust pro for the "professional" to do it lol! dumb idea! do it yourself if youve got the time and tools! ive done about 3 different exhaust systems now and regret ever paying that much for exhaust

  • Sounds pretty bad dude do u like the trucks performance I been lookin n to one that looks almost like urs wit a 4.3

  • @RM581 bad as in good or bad lol and it was alright, good on gas but doesnt compare with a 4.3 when it comes to power! did you get it? 5 speed or auto?

  • @RM581 bad as in good or bad lol and it was awesome when it comes to power! didnt realize how much power it had till i totaled it and had to get the 2.2 x( did you get it? 5 sped or auto?

  • i have a 95 s-10 with the same flowmasters with 3 1/2 inch tips. sounds perty good. and better than a small block

  • @blakeab1 there you go, and much better on gas!

  • does it still have the cat on it cuz im thinking about doing this to mine but i didnt know if u stll had the cat on it and how much did it cost u to have it done

  • @MudDiggerByers2011 around $400 at exhaust pro for the "professional" to do it lol! dumb idea! do it yourself if youve got the time and tools! ive done about 3 different exhaust systems now and regret ever paying that much for exhaust + around here they wont take your cat off cause its illegal to go without, so yes it still had the cat then

  • No amount of high flow muffler is going to take away the V-6 sound completely. But at idle, you could be fooled into thinking that it was a small block. I'd definitely consider it for my S10 Blazer.

  • @bigredchevytruck yeah thats why he was fooled at the gas station lol

  • More obvious that it's not a small block when it gets out of the lower revs.

  • Dude sounds good you should check out mine.

  • Hey I have a 00 s10 and I'm watning to put exhaust on it. What is your exact setup?

  • ive got the same set up on my 98 1500 w/t and im definetly glad i got it cause it was well worth the money

  • my cd player does the same fuckin thing every time i shut er down its kinda gay

  • i put a flowmaster super 40 on my 4.3 s10 and punched out the cats and i dont like the sound as much as the flowmaster 40 , and if you use a hypertech power programmer the engine light will turn off. Also, you can buy an o2 simulator and wire it to the sensor and the light wil turn off and you will get your lost mpg back

  • When you removed your catalytic converter, did you have to get it tuned out so it wouldn't make the Service Engine Soon light come on?

  • Sounds hella good! Is it just exhaust or headers too and where can I find this kind of setup?

  • Hey what's ur exact set up do u have headers or is it one muffler two exhaust?

  • Its just single from the headers to the flowmaster system, then dual straight pipes from there! Goodluck!

  • sounds nice for a V6 good job

  • thanx im diggin it!

  • almost sounds like a small block

  • thats wat a guy at the gas station said to me, he couldnt believe it! lol

  • @AlmostSmosh you do know the only difference between a 4.3 and a 5.7 is two cylenders right? same bore and stroke....basically a small block with the two back cylenders chopped

  • @snxtr huh, nope didnt know that! thats wild, their good motors too! live forever!

  • Rev it like you got some balls man. From what I heard it sounds nice but lay your foot into the floor and get it up in the high rpm's.

  • well if i did that, the camera would have made all that noise sound terrible! Im jus showing some low rpm'd revs that you can actually compare to real life sound, and tell how throaty it really is!!!

  • Thanks 2 you I'm now installing a dual flowmaster system...are they dual mufflers?

  • Sounds great man!

  • ya dude im getting the same exact truck a 95 and everything thats sick i might do that

  • Do it mane!

  • Sounds almost like a V8, I like it. Good job.
