Hi Good video. One question, if you were being followed by car drivers would you still go to the wrong side of the road for the view? I am just wondering if it may lead to some confusion for them not knowing why?
@diff22000-That's a very valid question Colin, the main reason I crossed the road was as an example to the following pupils as to how good a view I was getting. The questions to ask in any situation like this are 1/ is it safe to do 2/ Is there an advantage to doing it and 3/ Would me doing this be misleading to other road users. So in answer to your question, I may not have done this if I was being followed. Each situation needs to be assessed on it's own merits at the time. Hope this helps.
That mistake your student made at the very end of the clip just goes to show the dangers of riding when a bit fatigued. Lucky he didn't have an off, but I'm sure he'll not forget it in a hurry!
@Stormhead0912 ...Agreed, hopefully others will learn by his mistake, I also saw him reaching for his brakes when on the mud and had to tell him to leave them alone, phew!

Not a criticism but an honest question.
Best wishes
Colin.
