yessums. like short cuttin, because you don't actually have to put effort into the spinning, the pole des it for you, i do static pole, and i prefer it to the spinning pole in touchness. but yes i admit the spinnign pole looks more graceful..no offense i mean nothing of insault or degradation by it

I think they are different skills, the g-force makes spinny pole totally different to static in my opinion. Mastering one style is hard enough, mastering both is very impressive. Felix worked on both static and spinney during the day, and from a 38mm to a 50mm and was able to adjust to all of them seamlessly.

I love doing both poles but i really feel the spinning pole isn't cheat as you still need alot of strength when you are having to go against the centrifugal force when trying to accomplish some moves. I wouldnt say its easier at all, but thats depending on the type of routine you're doing I suppose.

Yes, static poles require you to throw your weight away to gain momentum, but spinny poles require much more strength because you have to resist the g-force (the pole constantly try to push you off, basically), PLUS you cannot rely on gravity to carry your weight while you spin, you have to hold every ounce of your body weight yourself, while you hold a pose and let the pole spin. The pay off is that spinny pole looks much prettier and more impressive.

Its so not cheating, we dont teach spinning pole until our students have reached level 5, as its so much harder!
