i am form the US and i was wondering if you can have a 3PT hitch and PTO on the from and when you are not using it you could put a loader on it?? can any one help me. I never been around these front PTOs.
I know loaders use hydraulics but i was wondering if you had a front 3 pt hitch if you could put a loader on so you can do more jobs with one machine.
the front pto doesnt bother or so. the front 3 pt hitch can be "folded" for street use or loader work. foldability is a standard for front 3 pt hiches. my neighbour has such a combination. works well.
No you cant mate, the frame holding the 3pt Front to the chassis uses the same bolt holes as where you would fit the front loader. Dont know which ones chrisk111 is talking about??? care to let us know chrisk111?
The tractors of Doncester (the old IHC and the later Case ih) had ever been bad. The 840 for example its the last shit. tractors of Neuss where the real powerful tractors!
Officially it will be 12 months on the 21st December, Unofficially they where still building the ZTX well into 2008. There are still a few maintenance lads in there stripping it out, it looks a right shit hole now. The new owners of the land are going to put a retail park and a housing estate on there. I'll do my best to have the main building listed, it's a pre war building. Not to mention it's historical value, it will split the land straight down the middle.
Hi cujomojo, just thought id add my bit, btw thanks for that video... im a out and out mccormick fan and case pre 2001! and ive just demoed a xtx 165, build quality was poo and my mtx 140 would out pull it!!! and thats saying somthing.its a total pity doncaster closed and in my view was the end to the "proper" british built CASE line!! and having db/case/mccormick tractors on our farm since 1964 i think were going to change brands, if they were still a doncaster product i wouldnt of thought twice
yes we were still recieving donny built tractors well into 2008 so a few must of been kicking around to the latter. iv been on many good training courses up there.
