  • Oh, I remember this singer...I forgot about her songs lol. thanks for sharing the song.

  • @SandsEastern

You might also like her unique version of "Habibi Ya Einy" (a popular Arab song). I don't have it on my channel, but you can find her video on YouTube.

  • @FrankCoffman thanks, I have heard many singers sing that song

  • @SandsEastern

Yes, many singers have sung it. Nourhanne's version is different. You can find her video on YouTube with the title:

    "Nourhanne-Habibi Ya Eini"

    Beautiful music, thanks

    Mooi liedje, Dank je

  • Hi can someone help me understand? I thot habibi already mean my love? Why add ana at the back. Even gharami and hayati. Dun really get why they hve to put ana at the back

  • kyra,

habibi doesnt mean love. hob means love.

    habibi is lover.

    habibi ana means my lover.

enta hayati ana means you are my life.

    n same thing with gharami.

  • Hi, i meant to ask why do u hve songs like habibi ana when habibi is sufficient? I hve frens who can only understand classical arabic and they told me tt the's grammatically wrong.

  • look, its not used in speech.

its only done that way in music so that the versus make sense.

arabic is a very complicated and complex language. u wont easily understand what im saying unless ur an Arab and speak the language.

    sorry for the confusion :S

  • Ohhhhhh!!! I get it! Like perhaps when u wanna rhyme or something like tt eh. Ok thanks!!!U've helped out a lot!!! =)

  • yea thats correct.

im glad i was of help n u understood wt i meant! =D

  • Peter,

    Thanks for clarifiying.

  • Hi Frank

    good worrk

    keep it upp

  • i love it, nice video!

  • oh!! norhan is very Hot

  • Frank you are so awesome!Happy Holidays.

  • Nice video thanks for uploading but i would translate "Gharami Ana" as "my passion" because Habibi Ana would translate as My Love but it depends how you see it:)

  • Oarabxxrose0,

You are right. Thanks. I made mistake. I've changed the title to "My Passion." The subtitles in the video should be "my passion," not "my love." I've noted the correct wording in the "more info" section.

  • Love this...

  • NOURHANNE = LEBANESE DIVA!

    FRANK COFFMAN:

WOW! You brought "NOURHANNE" back to the limelight with this beautiful video!

    A++++++++++ for this video! :)

She has a great voice; she has great potentials, and she's also beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this video with the world, and very importantly the "ENGLISH TRANSLATION" as we've witnessed already; the growing fans of the Lebanese singers are mostly non-Arabic speaking folks.

    THIS VIDEO ROCKS! :)

  • The part where the skyline starts growing is pretty cool. Never heard of Naurhanne but I like her swagger!. FC does it once again 4sho!

  • thenewhotfire,

Thank you. I think Nourhanne is cool. You might also enjoy her unique rendition of "Habibi Ya Einy." She "swaggers" (as you called it) in that video, too.

  • Awesomeeeeeeeeee!

    :]

  • I'm also Lebanese/Armenian..im very happy we have a singer like Nourhanne!

  • i wanned say sending, not dending LOL.

  • i loved the song.

thanks for dending me this song in a way that i can understand.

you're amazing Frank and a good prefessional. (said by a professional russian to portuguese translator eh eh)

  • Thanks for the video and you did an amazing job as always.

  • Thanks for posting this Frank. I love her songs

  • cyan,

You're welcome. I love her songs, too. I edited and supplemented her concert video with some other images, plus English subtitles.

As you know, she comes from an Armenian family -- like someone else I know. : )

  • Yah, I like the way you added other clips :)I give you 5 *****

  • wait i have a question, are you arab? Or did someone else do the translation? Cuz its really cool when non-arabs can speak arabic, i met this cute paki girl who knew some cuz she lived in SA

  • hi, mites7,

No, I am not an Arab. I am an American with no Arab ancestry. For the subtitles on my videos, I have to rely on translations, which I modify and supplement with my meager knowledge of Arabic.
